"Quiet hotel, had a room in the grounds with balcony, generally all ok....average hotel, little pricey for location...surprisingly the in room book threatened a €90 charge if we used the in kitchette equipment provided...(incidentally no kettle & just 2 coffee pods)....very odd....will not go again"

"Beeindruckendes Chateau. Sehr gutes Frühstück. Die Möblierung unserer Suite entsprach allerdings nicht dem Standard des Gebäudes. Da es im Hotel kein Restaurant gibt und in Villiersexel nur 2 Lokale sollten sich Gäste über deren Öffnungszeiten informieren um nicht hungrig zu bleiben."

"Le plus une grande chambre confortable Les moins : Pas propre , un Petit déjeuner pas a la hauteur avec soi disant des produits locaux , l'accueil est froid et pas du tout professionnel La piscine est sale et leau et froide avec une chaudière en panne La ou c'était le ponpon , nous etions accueilli par une communauté juive , jusqu'à la tout va bien Cependant les cousins, des cousins les ont rejoint pendant pendant leur fête religieuse, ou plutôt une secte et la plus moyen de dormir 😴 Bref...

"A very cheerful, friendly place, family-run. They say their kitchen is open all day, and I got a good lunch at 3.30pm - most places I would have been waiting till 7. Breakfast is good, too "

"Great place to stay! The only issue was that a previous occupant of the kitchenette apartment had fried sardines or other fish and the smell was absorbed by the curtains. We would laugh and say how much it wreaked in that room. But we still liked it. "

"A good stop off on way to Switzerland, basic. Interesting shower set up hadn't had a shower curtain for many years. O/W AOK"

"The air conditioner didn't work. The spa is a little whirlpool and i couldn't go because they said that it was full."
