The air conditioner was awesome! The room needed an upgrade. The stove was dirty and old. The towels were not the best. But I would go there again.The bed was comfortable and clean.

I had a comfortable stay here! The motel was clean and cozy. The only thing I cam say needs improvement is the key cards for access to the building ands room. I had some issues with the card readers on the doors going into the building and once going into the room, but the issue was addressed quickly each time. Overall, despite an interesting crowd (which they can't help people being crazy), it was a comfortable stay. I'd come back again.

Worst Hotel Experience Ever – Dirty and Smelly! I booked America’s Best Value Inn in New London through Expedia, and it was the worst experience of my life. The room had a horrible urine smell coming from both the bedroom and bathroom. The bedsheets were dirty, the towels were stained, and the furniture was old, ripped, and in terrible condition. The whole place felt unhygienic, and we all started feeling sick because of the awful smell and filth. For the high price they charge, I was expecting at least a clean and comfortable room — but it was absolutely disgusting. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Terrible experience — stay away!

It’s a no for me. If you can afford to stay somewhere else, including your car, do it. Do not stay here. Room was absolutely disgusting. Stains on sheets, pillow cases, dried up dead bugs plastered to the wall. Didn’t even have a smoke alarm, instead they stuffed a fast food napkin in the holes where it used to be. I had to sanitize EVERYTHING. Hair all over the bathroom. Stains and residue on countertops. Black mold in the air conditioner. Hallways smelled like weed and mildew. We had a 2 night stay planned and I refused to stay the 2nd night.

Hallways stinking of pot. Thin walls and ceilings. Doors you have to slam shut. Dripping faucets. The rooms were kept clean, but basically this is a flophouse posing as a Best Western motel. It should be priced accordingly.

Staff was friendly. Check in and out was seamless/easy. Conveniently located near public bus transportation and 10 minutes drive to Amtrak or ferries, the New London mall is a short walk away to Shop Rite and restaurants. Some modern amenities in room (bed ,television, shower) Other items-kitchen cabinet, refrigerator (freezer iced over, could not use), oven extremely old! We had to have the bedding changed due to cigarette holes and stains. Hallway carpet was old and smelled of strong car air freshener.

No cleaning on 2 day stay. No extra towels for second day. Soft spot in floor that you thought you could fall through. Walls and doors marked and dirty in hallway to room. Furniture was damaged from a lot of use that gave room dingy feel. If you have a tolerance for that, it was not a bad place and the price was OK compared to some.

We had to ask to switch rooms because the first room they gave us smelled like fish. The second room definitely smelled better, but was not clean. This was a one night stay for a start of a road trip, the airline lost one of my bags and I had already given them the hotel address for delivery, without seeing the hotel first. If we weren’t expecting the delivery of my bag and this wasn’t just a one night stay on a road trip, we would have left and found another place. Save yourself the hassle and don’t stay here!

Would never book again!

This hotel was by far the worst we have stayed in. The room was more than outdated and not clean. The outlets were exposed. TV did not work. Floor moldings hadn't been cleaned probably since hotel opened. Wore shoes the entire time because carpets were gross. Shower unsafe and scummy. Would not recommend to anyone.

Floors creak so you hear everyone walking above you. Room was on the first floor and I found the windows not latched shut. Heard creaking sound like they were being opened in the middle of the night. Found half eaten marshmallow fluff jar on windowsill behind curtain. Heard noises like small animal in the room. Never coming back.

Worst hotel ever

We booked this via hotels.com but did not stay. The photographs online are NOT an accurate depiction. There is no air conditioning in the lobby, halls or other "common" areas. Overall it smelled dingy and musty. The beds had stains on the comforters and bedsheets. The area around the hotel did not appear to be the safest and marijuana could be smelled in the room and hallways. This was one of the worst hotels I have ever seen or been inside of. DO NOT waste your time even looking at this place. We did not stay over night and are unsure if we will get a refund because we booked via third party.

Chemicals they use to "clean" the property smell absolutely awful. Front desk staff seem to just make up prices daily and often take longer than expected to attend to guest's. I waited in the lobby for more than five minutes with no one in sight to check in. Towels were stained. Comforter had cigarette holes. The best part is my room had mice! When i (obviously upset and grossed out) informed the front desk and canceled the rest of my stay...I was told mice cant be on the 2nd floor.......save your time and money and avoid at all costs!

The beds and bathroom were clean but both my brother and I found our feet got very dirty in the main room(as soon as you stepped into the shower you could see dirt & hair wash off!) There were issues with the "guest" internet working and even after we were given access to another "private" internet, it was pretty slow.
