"My daughter and I decided to have a few nights away and as we had the sun on our side for the week we decided to stay in the UK. We came across this hotel and although expensive we decided we weren't paying for flights and booked two nights. How very special from the moment we arrived and had our car parked for us. Lovely Zara and Eugania helped with our check in and showed us around the hotel, outdoor pool and spa.
What a wow factor when we were shown to our Croquet room, all air conditioned, it had a bathroom with double shower and bath, a dressing room with everything you needed included. In the main bedroom it had doors and a balcony overlooking the croquet lawn and the biggest bed with the softest bedlinen, all tea and coffee facilities were in the room with complimentary biscuits.
Dinner was booked in the restaurant on the first night which was delicious and such friendly attentive waitress staff. we tried The Kitchen the second night with a lift to the restaurant in a buggy. The food was equally as good there.
The cocktails back in the bar afterwards were great and took our expresso martinis to our wonderful room.
We made full use of the gym, classes and the spa with a wonderful hour long massage. We walked to the beach, swam in both outdoor and indoor pools, we played pickleball, croquet, putting and could have taken the bikes around the trail, but alas, run out of time.
