This accommodation is more like renting a room in a fairly nice boarding house. Really no service, which surprised us especially given the cost. When we first entered there was no “hello” or help from the first deck but only a weary sounding “check in?” Also little things missing that a traveler would expect like a luggage rack or just somewhere to place or unpack a suitcase other than the floor.

This is a fun unique stay in a good location. It was easy to walk to many areas of New Orleans. We felt safe and although there is sometimes noise it is amazing how quiet it can be with Bourbon St not too far away. We had a great fun king two floor King suite and the bed was super comfortable. Everyone who worked the front desk was nice. Would stay there again!

Pros: very large apartment type unit! We were two people, but could’ve easily added 2-4 more. It was very convenient location in French Quarter. A little bit of street noise, but I’m guessing less than other streets. Friendly, available staff. The bed was pretty comfortable. Cons: there is no elevator and some rooms are on the third floor (ours was) and shower water pressure was extremely low. This was fine for us, could be hard for others.

I liked how beautifully restored the bldg was. The bedding and pillows were very tired and needed to be replaced. My friend has mobility issues and had to carry her luggage up the stairs without any assistance. We were told there wasnt any help and we could look at the room, if we didnt like it we could go elsewhere. I found the receptionist on arrival very rude and unaccomadating. We wont be back.

My son and I really loved our visit to NoLa and our stay at Grenoble House. The room was well appointed, spacious and loved that it had a full kitchen! Loved the hot tub, as well! The location was also superb: close to the action, but quiet evenings. Have already shared this property's info with friends who have interest in touring NoLa!
