This hotel was exactly what we were looking for. The location was super convenient for our weekend activities, and the in-room kitchen helped us save money for some of our meals, as well as the complimentary breakfast, which was one of the best hotel breakfasts I've had. My husband and I went to New Orleans for the French Quarter Festival and stayed at the Homewood Suites on Poydras for a week. Everything about our stay supported a great vacation. Our room had been updated since our last stay here and was lovely and very comfortable. This is a quiet, safe and well-run hotel. The employees here make you feel right at home. And the breakfast each morning had many choices, excellent. Love this hotel and look forward to returning!

The staff here is amazing, so friendly. Hotel is clean. The only thing to budget for that is not detailed in the price, is there is several taxes, at checkout. Travelers tax, Superdome tax, and a couple of others. This is in no way reflective of the staff or property. I am writing this only to give future travelers a heads up to budget accordingly.
