Easy walking access to Jackson Square . Evenings were very quiet. A small convience store rght next door. I do howevernwish the courtyard had been better maintained. All planters just had dirt in them with empty cigarette butts. The rooms however were super clean and tge beds were Amazing. Offsite parking gave us about 7 block walk. Would definitely stay here again.
Located in the French Quarter just a few blocks from Bourbon street and Jackson square. I want to love this historic hotel but the new owners don't care about the property and it's super obvious. I stayed here a year ago and it was great, which is why I returned. Now there's no onsite front desk and and hotel communications is poor. They only send an email about preregistrating while I was on the flight to NOLA. And then it turned into a 4 block walk back and forth because of their miscommunication. And then a constantly malfunctioning split unit. Again, this place could be great but it just isn't anymore. Go somewhere different and have a much better experience, NOLA is a great city!!
Worst hotel I ever experienced. Checked in at 3:16pm and couldn’t go into my room because it wasn’t even finished being cleaned until 4:30pm. It was a couple also there that checked in at 3pm and was sitting outside with us because their room wasn’t cleaned either. After going into the room. It still wasn’t cleaned. Housekeeping had to come back. The door also wouldn’t lock. Maintenance had to come and fix it. TV did not work, had to unplug it and plug back in just for it to work the whole stay. No phone was in the room. Also I was promised a $100 dollar refund for the inconvenience of not being able to go into my room until 4:30pm and didn’t receive it yet. Called them and they telling me to call when the guy that I spoke to when I was there is back to work. I would not recommend this place.
The room itself was nice. Comfy bed, clean room, clean bathroom. The downfall is the location. The room is literally 5 ft from the street. If you are a light sleeper, this is NOT the room for you. The hotel does have rooms to the rear of the building of our room, request one of those. You can hear people talking on sidewalk, the cars can be SO loud!! The garbage pick up is early, as is the street sweeper. Ask for an actual key card. I had trouble with getting the digital key to work.
Lobby was closed the entire three days. Our AC leaked water all over the floor. Complained about and “maintenance “ was called. The “fix” made it worse. Shower was 18” x 15”. Couldn’t turn around in shower and water was all over the floor.
Had to download the app OpenKey. What a joke. Never worked on our first 5 attempts. Stay someplace else!
The lobby at this property is closed, meaning we had to walk about 4 blocks to leave our baggage, and later check in at, a sister property. This partially defeated the purpose of having a room in the first place. Secondly, our room is right on top of the street, which means all kinds of street noise all night long. Worse, neither of these factors were disclosed in the reservation. Had I known either of these, I would not have stayed at this property.

Room ok. Door to room had handle hanging off. Access on first night was difficult. Was sent an access code to access room but on arrival found out I had to download an app to gain access which I struggled to do on the sidewalk in the dark. On the last day check out was 11.00 am but access to the room was shut off at 10.00 am so we were locked out again on our return from breakfast.

Great location, great room, and free parking close by
My husband and I loved our little room at the Inn on Ursulines. It was cozy and clean with a very comfy bed. The air conditioner cooled very well. The area was safe and quiet. However, some things you should know: the room was very tiny. The property is old and has been maintained well, but we had very steep steps getting up to our room. You check in at a different property a few blocks away. You can pay $40 to park in a secure lot a few blocks away or you can park for free along the street 7am to 7pm. There was no one attending the office at the Inn on Ursulines so if we had needed anything we would have had to walk to the sister property (Lamothe House Hotel). Overall if was a good stay for one night.
Beautiful architecture full of New Orleans character; great central location for where we were meeting friends; clean and beautifully renovated rooms; and friendly, helpful staff!
Pros
Check in process was easy and they allowed early check in with no charge.
Love the location!
Love the charm of the Inn.
Cons
The keyless entry is problematic and caused lots of frustration for both rooms.
They cleaned one of our rooms and left the door not only unlocked, it open!
We had a late checkout so ran to breakfast and when we got back none of our room keys worked to let us on the property or in the room. Since there is no management on property we had to wait almost 30 minutes for someone to show up and let us in. Quite a bit of panic on our end since we had an uber on the way.
Very quaint and beautiful. Rooms are simple but very comfortable. Staff members are very accommodating and went out of their way to make our stay memorable. We will definitely stay here again!!
nice place to stay near French Quarter. It has a walkable distance to most places, daily cleaning, safe area, affordable price.
The only one flaw is there is no staff on the front desk and you will have to call their sister property for check in and receive keys.
Overall good.
