Clerk was extremely rude and nasty. Wouldn't help at all.Said there was no reservation number even though we had one. Cash only because their machine was down!!!! I strongly suspect pocketing some money

We pulled up on the lot of Motel 6 to get to Studio 6. There was no front desk person at all. Called Hotels.com they didn’t have any information for me after attempting to contact someone themselves. Another traveler told us to go check in at Motel 6 and they would give us access to our room. So I go back to Motel 6 which had numerous cars in front of people waiting to be checked in. Once I talked to that front desk people she told me that our reservation was canceled due to us not showing at 6pm, we arrived at 8pm. I was canceling the reservation anyways, due to the conditions and obvious trap house location. We were lucky to find a much better hotel. But I would not recommend this hotel, even if u just trying to “sleep”.

This place was beyond horrible. It’s more housing for prostitutes and desolate families than a hotel. The area is unkept and quite frankly filthy. The pictures posted are extremely misleading. Stay as far away from this place as you can.

First strike was when we arrived and the credit card reader was down so had to go and take cash out at my own inconvenience. Second strike was when I was provided not one, but TWO unresponsive and improper key tags to our room. And finally, third strike was when I had gone to ask for additional bath towels and was handed a pair of hand towels because they were out of bath towels at 6:00pm in the evening on a July 4th weekend...I go to confront the front desk girl who then decides to get EXTREMELY hostile with me. The chick literally told me to my face "do you think I give af about this job?", and went as far as to pull the racial card saying "you have an attitude and you're already a white man"...This was the absolute worst experience I have ever had at a "stay" and wouldn't recommend this dump on my worst enemy. STAY AWAY!!!

Free parki g and the name, "Motel6" are what initially drove me to choose this motel along with the location. However, when I arrived it was another story entirely.

We didn't like anything the front desk left while customers waited for hour's one employee failed to give the right building for room and instead of owning to slight misunderstanding the manager entered our room and forced us to leave

My stay was horrible. They placed us in a filthy room and my cousin was bitten on her eye. There was roaches and flying bugs in the room as well. There was no lock on the door at all. None. We had to place the table at yhe door to make sure noone could come in. We weren't able to sleep at all.

I would never ever stay in this hotel again. Place was dirty, room smelled like cigarettes mixed with pee. The elevator smelled like someone/something had died in it. The stairs had dog poop. We honestly checked in and left immediately, we couldn’t stand staying at that place. There was roaches on the table, there was mold in the bathroom. If you can avoid this place just do it, it’s not even worth it.

First I got a room that wasn't cleaned but I did check in early and they gave me a room that was the only thing wrong was the toilet seat was broke. Only stayed one night a Monday and the police arrived twice. Seems people are living their si be aware of that

I would honestly like a refund. I booked my room for 2 nights but didn’t stay the second night. Overall the staff is doing their best but the property reeks of smoke and the pool looks hazardous. The property is understaffed and I get it. However, I do not recommend staying here.

BEWARE! Don't book! Upon arrival the hotel receptionist locked inside of the hotel and just displayed a sign "All reservations are CANCELLED". Didn't pick up the phone. There was a bunch of other people outside the hotel like us whose reservations were cancelled. We were left in New Orleans on Memorial Day weekend in the street. All hotels in NOLA were completely SOLD OUT. I couldn't apply for a full refund through my account, because the hotel's policy is to pay $65 for a "last minute (of course last minute!) refund. I contacted Expedia they sent me 3 emails with "we are working on your full refund". Today I received a following message from Expedia customer service: "I spoke with Studio 6 New Orleans, LA and they decided to stick to the terms and conditions of the booking and not issue a refund. Thanks for choosing Expedia. Sincerely, *name* Expedia Customer Support Team". This is ridiculous!

I had a reservation and was turned away. They stated no rooms available with at least 10 other people. If you want a dependable booking, don’t book here. Unless you want no room and want to spend hours driving around searching for another hotel.

This motel doesn’t even have a legitimate check in. When you get to the front door you will see that the check in window is closed and as I was told my maintenance staff it is permanently closed. The window never opens and then you as guest have to go all the way to the other parking lot at Motel 6 to check in. So basically this hotel is just an extension of the motel 6 which is already notorious for its uncleanliness, unprofessionalism and whom I already had to ask for a refund from after my last trip to New Orleans due to their terrible service. There was no way that I was going to subject myself to another stay with them so I left. 10/10 would definitely not recommend.
