The front desk young lady was friendly and I was so excited when we got there at 10:30 they had a room available! Will stay again and the hotel was in a great location!
Had a great stay at the Mercantile the staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Appreciated that breakfast was served daily and it had a great central location to the convention center. When I return to New Orleans, I’ll definitely plan to stay here again!
I want to say we really enjoyed the property EVERYONE WAS AMAZING FRONT STAFF and VALET made sure we was comfortable. The room was amazing, So, I surprised my boyfriend for his 44th bday. I secretly came to the property to set up for our stay and he was so surprised. Mr Thomas at check in was so helpful gave us complimentary drink coupons for his birthday. I was so happy when staff take so much pride in their job to make their guest feel welcome. Thanks guys will be back in Nov.
I had a great experience during my stay. The room was very clean and comfortable . It felt like a little one bedroom apartment with the living room and the bedroom. The hotel is in a great location not too far from everything! The casino is a 5 minute walk so that was very convenient. The hotel was so quiet and peaceful it didn’t seem like anyone else was there lol. I had a city view room and it was pretty nice. I would definitely be back and booking at The Mercantile Hotel again 10/10!
The dining area was freezing; temp at 55°. By the time you got your food to the table it was cold. Same breakfast every day. Halls by the rooms were also very cold. Paid $16 for an Old-fashioned, that was not an Old-fashioned.
The property was nice. Parking is a bit difficult if you chose to street park to save a little $. The room we had on 8th floor got a little too warm for us as the thermostat was motion censored in sitting area. The staff was very helpful and had a fan we could use. The mattress was shorter then the frame and was more like a foam mattress not a tradional one.
This hotel was the perfect experience in New Orleans. It was close to the convention center the outlet mall and Great eating experiences. I would definitely recommend staying here. Thoroughly enjoyed the staff. They are what made this experience great.
