"I would highly recommend this property. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. There was a free breakfast that had many choices and it was delicious. The outdoor amenities were wonderful. The pool was beautiful and there was plenty of seating around the pool with and without umbrellas. The turf area was fun to use and play giant chess and cornhole or just relax under the shade in one of the many swings. The grounds were beautifully maintained. I enjoyed my stay here and would definitely stay here again. It was a great property at a great value!"
"We do not vacation much at all, so we finally took a trip! Our room was great-room 426. A little low, but beachfront views. It was a corner room so that was super nice.
Pool was great! Beach was great!
Being a resort, the drinks and food were a little pricey but we ordered Uber Eats most nights and everything was amazing.
Surf shop down the road had reasonably priced food and booze.
Bartender at the pool bar was okay. She kept “tricking me” saying my food was almost ready even though I did not order food, then once I questioned her, she would give me my drink that I ordered. A little odd and annoying.
The first 2 nights we were there, there was hundreds of teens outside across the street. The cops showed up…obviously know the hotel can’t do anything about it but just know that it gets a little loud.
Honestly, would probably go here again but probably not for a whole week again… maybe a weekend.
Hotel was very clean and hotel staff other than pool bartender were very very nice. Water stations were so nice and free activities/snacks by the pool was our little ones favorite."
"It wasn't stated in the write up that there were no Airport Shuttles during the early morning. I had to get to the airport for an early morning flight. The evening clerk said that the night clerk could order me a taxi. When I got to the lobby at 3:30am the night clerk phoned a taxi, but they couldn't come for 40 minutes. I would miss my flight!!
He was very helpful and arranged a ride for me!!!"
"Great place to stay in. Clean, friendly staff the only problem was the elevators way to delayed and there were to times we had to take the stairs because the elevator to the parking garage never came. Other than that inconvenience everything excellent."
"The staff during our entire stay were helpful, professional and kind. The property was well maintained and the staff cleaning our room each day did an exceptional job. My only complaint is that the area around the pool near the chairs was at times filthy. There were numerous cigarette butts that were on the ground in the same place for our entire stay. That would not deter us from coming back to the property again. We love Holiday Inn and Suites Clearwater."
