There was a few issues from stains on the sheets and couch. The key locks did not consistently work to lock the facility. The hot water did not work unless turned to cold. The hot tub and top smelled like mildew. We attempted to reach out to the host the first night and never heard anything back. If they could fit those issues or at least a responded, that could have helped.

This was our third time staying at Avenwood. We enjoyed the first 2 stays but the third was not good. There was a power outage that went on all night. Due to the power outage there was a beeping noise that was not the smoke detector that just kept beeping and we couldn’t stop it. It disrupted our sleep and our all around relaxation. We reached out to have someone check it out and no one responded or came. It got to the point me and my husband decided to leave. On top of that my husband and I saw a couple roaches crawling on the counter and for that alone I will never go back there.

The property is beautiful. It's decorated so nice and the cabin was really clean and tidy. We loved the location. There is a fan above the hot tub and there is a bird's nest on the fan... So a heads up. We never got an email with info on the code to get in the door. We were able to make a call and get that info. We were not informed that the property is under a boil water advisory and were drinking the water!! That definitely should have been communicated ahead of time!!! We both have had tummy troubles"to put it lightly" as result!!! This could have been easily prevented!! This would have been a five star review if we weren't feeling awful the following day because of the water..
