The motel rooms were nice and clean, the beds were very comfortable. The employees though seem very grumpy. You asked to make question is like they were going out of their way to help you. As for the breakfast, can’t say a lot good about it if you’re a protein person you get besides the hard boiled egg. I expected a better breakfast.

The cleaning staff did a great job the room was nice and clean, the property is kind of blah, I only got one flat pillow. The check in staff made me feel like I was bothering her. Not sure I’d stay again, if I did it’s because the room was very clean.

Modern property that is used primarily by construction/oil field workers. Quiet location, comfortable beds and good black out curtains. Negative is it is far from New Town and the Four Bears Casino and the front desk staff is inexperienced and take forever to check you in. Breakfast is only served until 9 AM even on the weekend! There is a decent restaurant nearby for lunch and dinner which is a plus. I would stay there again but it wouldn't be my 1st choice.

This property is hard to find. Google map stops you I. The middle of nowhere. It is tucked in the hill by a big truck stop and the ranch men’s steakhouse that you do see on the highway. It was a clean and quiet stay, but our room was super humid and had a de-humidifier in it that said it needed a filter change. The room did smell damp so luckily I could open the window. It was nice and clean though. Good bedding. Bud stay again now that I know where it is. I see people that are towing things se to stay there , maybe because it’s quiet and safer.

We did not get to stay there. We had a reservation, received a call a few days before we were due to check in, was told our room had a permanent resident staying there. We had a tough time by then finding a handicap room. I was very disappointed, will not be staying there again.

We would definitely stay here again!
We were very impressed with how clean the hotel was and how friendly and helpful the staff were. The rooms were cleaned daily, which is something you rarely see anymore. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you for going above and beyond.

We have stayed at Van Hook before and knew what to expect. Well-equipped rooms for our family. The outside area looks rough and more pavement from the Highway would be welcomed. Staff are very helpful and courteous.

The rooms were clean and well kept. The staff was friendly and helpful. Because we stayed 2 nights, rooms were not cleaned which we understood. Our only wish was that towels and coffee would have been replaced and garbage emptied. Loved the counter/kitchen area.

Its an okay stay. Low water pressure makes for an interesting shower experience. Rooms are as you see in the picture, no iron board or tv remote. A quiet place to stay.

There is no room service like it states and the free breakfast is super limited to eggs, sausage, waffle, cold cereal, a couple items to put on toaster. If they would have a little more variety it would be great. The staff was very nice and professional. The hotel rooms were clean but the road going to the hotel is horrible.

Reserved a room at 11pm, drove to the motel nobody was at the desk, waited nearly 2 hours even called the front desk and no answer, another guest arrived to check in and still nobody so he called the desk and a lady finally answered. She had been sleeping for the entire 2 hours that I waited in the lobby to get checked in so that I could Go to sleep! Either have somebody available all the time for late check-ins or a valid phone number to reach somebody after 10pm so guests don’t have to sit in an empty lobby for 2 hours waiting for you to wake from your nap!

Nice and clean. A little bit confusion the access to the hotel. Might need more and bigger signs. My google map could not find the exact access. I got room 144 which is the very last roon at the end of the corridor but there is an exit door which everyone uses to go in and out, door slams all the time. Some people stay by the door talking so loud. Better ask for a different room. Breakfast is ok. Kind people at the front desk. You get for what you pay. Only stayed one night. Nice hotel to be found in the middle of nowhere. Thanks.

When we checked in we were told to use the entrance at the other end of the building since our rooms were there. We parked at the end, took all our stuff out of the vehicle, only to find the entrance blocked by snow & ice. So we had to climb over the snow & drag our stuff through it. The room had a smell to it like a bad air freshener. The staff was very friendly & the breakfast was great!
