Poor communication
We booked the hotel for our return from a trip, we stayed there the night before we flew and parked my vehicle with them for the week. We received a notification from the hotel about two days prior to the reservation confirming it and advising us how to get their shuttle from the airport. An hour before our flight home I received an email (which I don’t always check) advising us that the hotel was closed and would not be honoring our reservation. No other hotels available for that area for that night. Fortunately we were able to pick up our vehicle, but had a long drive home after a long day of travel. Would have been nice to know it was sold when we booked it.

Good choice for staying near JFK airport. Utilitarian stay. Limited options in the neighborhood for eating. If you want to take the public transportation into New York City, you must return to the airport on the shuttle.

Poor Poor Poor visit!!!!!!
Very very disappointed!!! Starting with one of the three elevators didn't work for 2 of the 3 days we were there. Both Friday and Saturday we requested then to fix our K cup coffee machine in room 407. Nobody...nobody came either day to repair or replace the machine!!! On Friday we had our do not disturb sign on the door until about 11 in the morning. When we left we flipped it around so they would clean our room . We returned around 4 and the room wasn't cleaned. So my wife did some basic cleaning. About 430 ish they knocked our our door to clean it. We told them we wanted it cleaned before we returned. Then the supervisor showed up and my wife told them what happened. They admitted they saw the please clean sign and forgot. I feel like you ripped us off for the amount you charged us. You should give us one night for free considering the poor service your provided. Bob

The parking situation is an absolute joke. No washcloths. Had to hunt them down. No coffee given for coffee machine. Again had to hunt down. Will never stay here again.

Room was clean and tidy (apart from rubbish bin which still had rubbish in it). Room smelt a bit of jeyes fluid too / but then knew it was clean! But I was just staying for a few hours before my early flight - so it was good for the purpose. Staff all very friendly and helpful.

Conditions of the property weren’t what I would expect from a Crown Plaza. The room was dated, carpet was coming up, shower had what appeared to be paint on the tile. It did the job, which was a quick overnight stay.

Good- Friendly staff. And fairly clean room. Bad- the pillow covers smelled dirty. And the airport shuttle that’s supposed to run every 30mins took almost an hour to pick us up from JFK airport. We had to call twice.

Okay Hotel
Our international flight arrived early. Therefore, it was an early check in. The Spanish shutter driver was the most rude driver I ever met. We out our luggage in the van and closed our door. We also had to take our luggage out of the van. He was not polite at all. Didn’t say a word to any of the travelers. One we arrived to the hotel, was a mad house. Only one person in reception and she was overwhelmed. There were at least 40 people to check in and she couldn’t keep up. No manager on floor to help either. Honestly, I do not recommend this other specially if you are comping from a long international flight.

It was a clean room so that’s the main thing. Shower wasn’t really working to its fullest ability. But a clean room near the airport was the goal and that was achieved.
