This property had a stench of urine and wetness and mold throughout. Minute I got up to my room and turned my air conditioning unit on the stench became worse as if it was coming directly through the vent as well. When I went downstairs for my continental breakfast the next morning there was a grocery bag sitting on a small table like a high school desk that had a sign that said breakfast with an arrow pointing to it. Inside of it was small little shopping bags tied up in a knot with a yogurt and some type of breakfast bar. That was it. No water no juice no fruit no coffee nothing. I later found out from a dear friend of mine that this property is subsidize by New York City’s government to provide shelter for the homeless. That would have explained the stench and the smell. I was there less than 24 hours I immediately checked out and left. This is the most disgusting poorly advertised misleading hotel I have ever booked at and not only will I never do it again, I would expect that it would get shut down. It’s absolutely disgusting .

I was very disappointed in this property. Despite signs being posted everywhere saying the property is 100 percent smoke free, my room had a very strong cigarette odor. In fact, it was disgusting. The promised "hot breakfast" is just a plastic bag of various packaged food items that aren't all appropriate for breakfast. It looks like it was assembled from items bought at a neighborhood store. I also wasn't sure if there were enough of these bags for all guests.

The washroom was nasty, sink faucet was loose and shaking on the countertop. No microwave in the room as stated in the ad. No breakfast!!!!! The milk in the kitchen was spoiled. No lids for coffee cups. THE GUY AT THE COUNTER WAS RUDE AND VERY ARGUMENTATIVE. HE SHOULD NOT BE IN THE HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY. STAY AWAY FROM THE HOTEL.

It was very noisy at night, from mid-night to early morning. Someone was playing very load music on the nearby street and the hotel staff did nothing to stop it. One could not go to sleep in such high noise. The hotel is very dirty and colleagues inside is not friendly.

I booked two rooms for four family members. One of the rooms smelled very strongly of marijuana and had candy wrappers on the floor. Front desk staff immediately changed that room upon request. Overall the facility was dirty, the carpets were stained some furniture was in need of repair, the bathroom was not very clean. Noted used Q tip on the floor. Walls are paper thin...it is possible to hear someone's entire conversation in the next room. Staff were receptive however.

The price was fair for a weekend stay. However, the room has a humidity issue even with the AC running. The rugs have a sticky feeling and bed linen have a damp feeling. This is because the humidity is high. Also, since there are no immediate amenities in the area, there needs to be a safe convenient food area for fresh coffee and pastries, maybe a coffee bar such as Starbucks. The ice machine was not working, another inconvenience. Additional towels, wash-clothes ,and shower gel and a clock should be in the room also. Another thing needed is Uber services...since the parking lot is very small, if you move your vehicle, there is no guarantee that you will have parking spot and its easier to get around using Uber instead of driving.

This hotel was exceptional. I wasn’t expecting much given its tough location and the socioeconomics of the area but it exceeded all expectations. The room was very clean with daily housekeeping, and all claims of bedbugs are lies (one review mentioned a security guard escort, which is untrue because the hotel doesn’t even have a security guard!). They comply with special requests and they even stored my luggage for me in between check out and having to go to the airport. The rooms often smell like smoke or weed but the hotel does their best to freshen the air on their cleaning routines. The hotel is no-smoke, so it’s d-bag customers that are at fault here so no marks against the hotel. If you are sensitive to the smell, bring air freshener with you if you plan to stay here. My only complaint is that the front desk staff is often so focused on their phones or ON A CELL PHONE CALL that you can stand there and not get help unless you speak to them (they don’t even notice you otherwise). But they help you right away when they do see you! They don’t provide any hand soap but they provide body bar soap, so if you’re picky about this then bring your own hand soap. The complaints against the parking are bull. The lot always had spots open when I was there, and the situation is much better than most New York establishments. It’s a miracle they have parking space at all. The bus line is right there which connects to a major Manhattan subway, so the city is within 1.5 hrs of hotel.

I enjoyed my stay. But called the hotel back after I lefted my walking cane in the room I rented. I have Cancer and need my Walking Cane for support to help me walk. I paid $60 for that cane and I want my money back. The Clerk on duty didn't understand English. They didn't know what a walking cane was. Why are they working at the hotel. They need better training. I was given a voucher from American Airline for the flight they delayed. I arrived to hotel at about 1230am, took a shower, and went to sleep. Shortly after in my sleep I was scratching non stop, eventually I woke up to my neck burning on fire and I kept itching my leg as it also felt like it was on fire. I opened my eyes and right next to my face on the pillow there's a Bed Bug. I took a video with my phone as evidence. I went to front desk and they said it was the last room available and they had to wait to talk to management in the morning, he then sent security with me to my room (not sure what the purpose of that was). I ended up taking an Uber to the airport for my 8am flight at 2am.... after checking all my clothes to make sure I wasn't taking any critters with me. I have a total of 5 bedbugs bite. 3 on my neck of which are still swollen and irritated. This was possible the worst experience I've ever had in all my years of Traveling. I was 3days later contacted by manager and left a voicemail that they had an inspector check the room and found no evidence of bed bugs. I returned call and have yet to speak with anyone.

Party going on late night with extremely loud music and management wouldn't do anything, even with repeated complaints from multiple guests. WARNING!!! HORRIBLE!! NO QUALITY!! I booked this hotel for two nights with my husband and children. The reason that we chose this hotel was the closeness to the airport leaving at 3:30 a.m. Besides the room being stinky we decided to stayed. When the second night arrived starting at 7:00 p.m. there was music blasting through the floor and the walls. Everything started to shake. My oldest son went to speak to someone in the lobby. When he came back; he complained that the people in the front ignored him. Now, my husband goes there and learned that below our room there is a conference room that was rented for a fiesta. At the same time, other guests came to complain and tried to find solutions with the manager like for example switching rooms without success. The only solution that the manager shamelessly offered was to find another hotel. We were scared to leave because is a rough neighborhood and for financial reasons. Another guest, mourning her mother's death had to go to her car to sleep. This manager was so disrespectful and dishonest. He had no care for his guests. He told me I had to wait until 1:00 a.m. for the party to be over. We were tortured for 6 hours with extremely loud music. The management was profiting from our misery. Nobody should go through what we experienced. I would like to talk to someone from Expedia about this. Is there a hotel norm about this? Can a party in a hotel be booked during this hours with only the floor separating the guest room?
