Felt safe and comfortable at The Nash
Great unit, updated kitchen, perfect location, friendly desk attendant. My family of four stayed for a week and we felt safe and comfortable the whole time.

We could not get in our room multiple times with the code, had to get the ley from the desk. I couldn't get a hold of a Sonder employee over the phone. The building was really dark and run down

Nothing is unique about this hotel other than lack of human touch. The hotel's location is one of the best. However, for the value of money, this is the most terrible hotel that I have ever stepped a foot. the aircon is not functioning, the TV is unnecessarily complicated, and above all horrible check-in and check-out processes? They may think that they are anticipating future hotels but nothing seems to be functioning. It is a rip off to say the least.

Do not stay here!
From arrival the door code did not work, however we were able to contact someone quickly for a key. The room, living room and bathroom were disgusting. So much hair and so much dirt on the floors we were scared to take our shoes off. Next to this the room smelled rancid and as did the hallway and elevators. Also, no rugs in the room. Terrible quality sheets. I literally went out and bought a swifter and used both the wet and dry pads on the floor. They were full of hair dust and dirt. We cut our stay and moved hotels.

A mini home away from home
This was the perfect place to stay, it was central to everywhere and the bus/subway was a short walk. There are heaps of places to eat close by and the door staff were lovey and always helpful. It didn’t really mention it on the site but there is a laundry there that you can use, you just need to have your own detergent. I also loved that we had a kitchenette during our stay

Kitchen sink was choked. Bathtub too. Emailed for service but the maintenance guy came 2 days later. Anyway since i could live with it for 2 days, i decided to live with it for another 2 days. I left and extended my stay in another hotel

Overall I would recommend.
Apartment was clean, quiet and spacious. Kitchen pretty small but usable. We had a problem with the key code pad stopping working during our stay and communication with Sonder was poor but the issue did get resolved ok. Heating unit cannot be controlled from within the apartment and was so hot (94 degrees) so we had to call the maintenance guy who eventually agreed to turn it off altogether. Overall I would recommend.

I loved how self-contained and walkable this property was. The sliding wall didn't close all the way between the bedroom and the living room. There was a piece of pizza in the freezer that wasn't from us. The shower curtain wasn't long enough and would create a puddle outside the shower if you weren't careful.

Can I just live here ?!😍
This place is perfect. I wish I could honestly live here . I felt so at home. They have a parking garage next to them that is 24/7. I have a Dodge caravan so they charged me about 55 a night though . The parking in front of the building is available after 7pm as they say. but don't park on the right side of the srreet. The amenities were perfect and I definitely would love to stay here again .

On arriving at the property it was like a sauna as we entered the room. We searched high and low to locate the thermostat without joy, went down to reception and was helped by a nice lady who works for sonder. Heater turned off at fuse box. Room was nice in general, plenty of space and facilities, only down points were the shower handle came off, shower was dated but worked well enough.

I would highly recommend this property if you are looking for a well priced apartment in Manhattan. The amenities were fantastic, and they really had thought of everything. 10/10 would come again

This is not a hotel - and noone is on-site!to help
First, this is not a hotel. There is no one to check you in, and personnel at the building front desk just told me an email with a password to get in was supposed to be sent in advance, and it took a few attempts to get it resolved. That also means no one is on-site to help you, and all requests for help need to be sent via text message. The flat is right next to an outdoor furnace with constant noise. When I complained, they said it would cost a lot more to change to another unit. The bathroom shower handle was broken and nearly impossible to adjust water temperature. Room is not cleaned, towels are not replaced. And they charge for room cleaning as you leave. Terrible experience!

The room that I was originally given was not cleaned after the prior guest. Re-assigned room was nice. I reported that the TV remote control would not change TV channels, but would adjust sound. Still not working the next day. However, the location is great and room has micro-kitchen, table for 2 and small desk which is great. Partner fitness club is great, but they are really intense. Provided a great recommendation for a local Italian restaurant that was awesome and a great value.

I did not realize this was not a hotel. We could not get into the room with the key pad on the door. Luckily the doorman to the residential building this unit is based in gave us the key because Sonder never followed up to make sure we could get into the unit!

The apartments are nice, however the AC is horrible. It shuts off after an unpredictable length, so every night I woke up burning up because the air had shut off. The street noise permeates the rooms and is very noisy. I'm in NYC once a month so I am used to the noise factor, but this is exceptionally bad. It's a shame because these are nice rooms.

This is a very nice and convenient property in an excellent location. It's more spacious than a hotel and has much better room amenities (a fridge, a small stove, etc.)
