Blue - Inn on the Beach is a fabulous property. It is well hidden on a stretch of beach on Plum Island that we never knew existed ( and we lived near Newburyport for many years)! The sunrise views of the ocean from our deck, the comfortable bed and breakfast delivered every morning at your door are to die for. We can’t wait to return!

This place is a gem! Beautiful room, well furnished and appointed, breakfast delivered to your door at a time of your choosing, perfect ocean view, and a staff that is only visible when you need them. The location right on the beach and very close to the wildlife preserve on Plum Island is perfect.

Probably the best hidden secret in MA. Love the proximity to town and nature. The beach and the views are second to none. The beach front room is a must! A combo between being one with nature and having the luxury of life! ♥️

I stayed in the Lark Suite and it was well worth it. Everything was neat, clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The views from our room were amazing and just what we wanted. All of the staff was very friendly, and they assured us to let them know if there was anything else we needed. Everything was perfect! I would definitely stay there again.

Blue-Inn on the Beach - Thank you

First time stay and it lived up to everything they advertised. The view was to die for and the breakfast was a delightful picnic basket in the morning at our door, with a pot of coffee. We will return when the weather is warmer but the fireplace in the room made it very cozy even in the cold weather.

It was all good. From the welcome at checkin to the breakfast delivered in the morning. My room had a patio that was right on the beach so even though it was cold and windy I still had a great view.

We’ll be coming back

A lovely winter getaway. Our room was comfortable and set up like a studio apt. Breakfasts delivered to our room were tasty and creative. The ocean was just outside our door, loved our walks on the beach and it was great to be on the edge of the NWR. Newbury/Newburyport is quiet this time of year but we had no trouble finding great places to eat. A lot of snow and parking lot was icy but hey, it’s winter in New England.

Our stay was so nice. Opted for the late night check in and got clear self check in directions and all services were so accommodating. The room was so clean and the view spectacular. Definitely will visit and stay here again!
