Booked the single room which is quite small but has everything and more that you need first thing i notice was how spotless and fresh smelling the room was bed very comfortable and had a great 2 night stay absolute gem of a place for the price will definitely use again

Easy Check in. About 10 to 15mins walk from the metro station. Res the Host was very good he carried my suitcase to the room. Could not see a spec of dust any where really clean. bed was comfy. Bathroom was good Shower took about a minute to get the water hot. Breakfast was good and cooked breakfast was hot not luke warm like most premier inns. And Res a great host and nothing seemed to much trouble for Res to sort out. So very much one of the better places to stay.

Great stay.

The host was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and tidy and well stocked with goodies and amenities. Was only a stones throw from some lovely parks and the front was only just beyond that. Extremely happy with my stay.

An americans hideout from the election

Throughout my travels in the UK I stayed in a number of hotels and the Beachwood was easily my favorite. Very comfortable beds, amazing location, a great shower (you dont realize how much of a difference it makes till you use a bad one). The owner was very polite and helpful throughout my stay. Overall i would highly recommend this place for any traveler!

Great b&b

Absolutely superb b&b with a fabulous, friendly and caring host and marvellous breakfasts. Nothing was too much trouble and even insisted on carrying my case up and down the stairs for me. Nice quiet room with lovely comfortable bed. Will definitely be returning.

Beautiful guest house, lovely decor and tasty full english breakfast! Just a little cool for me in the rooms. Rez the host, will even call a taxi for you to get to work on time, very helpful.

This is the 2nd time I’ve stayed at Beechwood Guest House and I enjoyed going back again very much. Very kind welcome and fantastic single room. Pristine cleanliness, maximum comfort and quiet. Smart TV with apps and Alexa. Look forward to next time already.

Great guesthouse spotless good facilities including toiletries iron ironing board hair dryer. Ample tea coffee milk biscuits and bottled water. 10 minute walk to the town centre and metro services. Also only 10 minutes from the seafront and all it's amenities. Very friendly staff. Great breakfast. Would definetly stay again.

What a lovely place and location!

On arrival was met by Rez who could not have been more helpful, he carried my suitcase to the top floor for me, he recommended where to eat and many other things, breakfast was a delight a full English and my friends had the light one which they both loved, at £8 it is a steal! The Beechwood is located on a street of restaurants with plenty of choice, opposite is a great pub! A very enjoyable stay full marks and thank you again Rez for making an excellent break!

I slept well at the Beechwood Guest house. The room with en suite was immaculate & the decor along with furnishings was very impressive. The host was both friendly & helpful, someone who you would like as a person & host. The breakfast provided at the Beechwood Guest House was delicious. Jan 24 south shields stay at the Beechwood

My stay was amazing. The room was beautifully laid out with iron hair dryer and tea coffee and biscuits with milk sachets plus extra pillowcases and towels when asked for. The tv was Crisp clear and the bedroom had an Amazon echo fitted which plays music and wakes u up when required. Couldn’t fault it. Oh the local haven leisure centre is 3 mins walk away with Olympic size swim pool plus an amazing gym. The beach is a hop skip and jump from the guest house too. Great eateries opposite the guest house and Rez the host makes a fabulous full cooked breakfast too!
