"Easily the worst overnight stay I have encountered anywhere in my travels. We had no working water heater the first 24 hours so none of us could shower. The floors were sticky. We killed two sizeable spiders in the unit. The whole place smelled like chemicals but I couldn’t quite place what they were. "This was a lovely hotel. The staff was great. Breakfast had a large selection. We ate at the restaurant a couple of nights and the food there was also quite good. Parking was easy. We used this as a base to explore the area, so getting out of Galway was much easier than if we had stayed downtown. We walked to downtown several times during our stay, but usually wished for a scooter before we got all the way back."
