Only stayed the one night in a single room. The room had everything needed for a comfortable stay and was clean. It is an older building so you could hear noise from the above room and the winds were whistling around the headland whilst I was staying. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The car park is a bit tight for space. Overall the owners have done a good job trying to keep an older hotel upto date. Perfectly ok for a nights stay.

Although I have only used it as a "base camp" for coastal explorations, it has great location outside the busy areas of Newquay - but still close to the coastline, with lovely ocean view from the room I succeeded to book earlier this year. Breakfast starts at 07:30, with a considerable menu of cooked options, too - so it is ideal for early risers looking to depart for their trekking. Overflow car park at the back helps, too in case the spaces in the front are taken.
