We went for this place to enjoy the beach, beach resort - this was a wellness spa and the beach is messed up with port construction- a massive part of the beach is gone. They need to make people aware of this, I would not recommend this as a beach resort - it is a wellness resort - the fact that it is on the beach is just - wrong advertising. I would like my money back based on inaccessible beach. Rest of the resort amenities are good. The SPA is amazing. Food is good and the staff are super polite.

An Amazing Hotel!

A truly unique and special place, we could wax lyrical about the extremely high quality establishment (all true) but I think its USP is its staff. They genuinely go above and beyond in an extremely professional and efficient way to make everything about your stay perfect. An it was.

Small Oasis and piece of paradise!

Small Oasis and piece of paradise! You’ll find yourself regenerated and filled with plenty new energy! Amazing place and service where one has the impression that one becomes part of the family during the stay. Recommend the Ayurveda treatment which is specialized for every customer and the yoga and great Ayurvedic food incl cooking class! Great place to stay and recharge, 100% recommended!

The property is nice and well maintained. Definitely recommended if the only agenda you have is to be on the beach side and enjoy the resort. Won’t recommend if you wish to explore KOVALAM as it is slightly outskirts. Pros: 1. Good private beach 2. Excellent ambience and amenities 3. Food is on the expensive side but justifies by taste and quality 4. The staff at the restaurant are very polite and helpful Cons: 1. Slightly remote and so no Ola/uber serviceability 2. The cab service by the property is super expensive (Tip- The auto rickshaws stand outside the gate- if you wish to travel they would be a cheaper option. The hotel staff did not tell me this so slightly unhappy with that but hope this tip helps you folks.) 3. At the bar, you may only get Beer as hard liquor is not served

Simply amazing stay. Staff was very friendly and ready to assist. Amazing spa experience with Ayurvedic massage. Front desk staff was great and helpful. Kitchen and morning breakfast was a real delight.

Tranquil property. Comfortable rooms but what others say about the air conditioners noise and bathrooms is true. The staff, especially restaurant were terrific. Management is aware the gym needs work. I exercise seriously and had to go to an outside facility. No more harbor construction noise. The harbor could be an eyesore if you want natural ocean views. But it had its own charm. Management really cares about your satisfaction.

Paradise

Our experience at Niraamya was pure bliss from beginning to end. The property is absolutely gorgeous. We stayed in the Rock Garden rooms and our jaws dropped when we opened the door. The staff was the nicest I have encountered in a long time. Anitha was especially helpful with anything we needed. We were able to book all types of tours through the hotel. There was a great variety for breakfast--healthy, indian, western, etc. The restaurant staff was very nice as well. Lunch and Dinner options were also varied. The pool and beach were exquisite. We did a number of treatments at the spa and had an amazing experience each time. This was one of the best vacations we have had in a long time! Thank you Niraamaya!

La vue donne sur le chantier en construction de ce qui va devenir le 2 ème plus grand port de l'Inde. Les travaux ont lieu jour et nuit. Il y a des nuits où nous n'avons pas dormi à cause du bruit. The view overlooks the construction site of what will become India's 2nd largest port. The work is taking place day and night. There were nights when we didn't sleep because of the noise.

В целом отель понравился. Живописное место на скалистом утесе среди нетронутой природы. Поют птицы, порхают бабочки и стрекозы, бегают пальмовые белки, разгуливают цапли. Для спокойного отдыха - идеальный вариант. Архитектура, дизайн - выше всяких похвал. Внимательный заботливый персонал. Прекрасная кухня. Завтраки по меню, но всего достаточно. Отличный спа. У отеля свой маленький пляж, по требованию устанавливают зонты и шезлонги. Хотя отдыхающих на пляже единицы, так как спускаться к нему надо по высокой крутой лестнице. Из-за рельефа местности отель не подойдет людям с сердечно-сосудистыми заболеваниями и ОДА. О минусах. Не всё поддерживается в положенном статусу отеля состоянии. Халаты в номерах - застиранные до дыр. Пляжные зонты тоже старые и изношенные. Шезлонги очень неудобные: сидеть нормально, лежать - нереально. Дорога с улицы к центральному входу тоже убитая, а стены строений - в грязевых разводах. О том, что вы приехали в пятизвездочный отель, узнаете гораздо позже) Очень завышены цены на событийные ужины. Например, около 20 тысяч рупий (больше 300 USD) на двоих за ужин ко Дню Валентина с совсем скромным меню - это перебор.

Best holidays

Wonderful hotel with a breathtaking view on the sea from our room and from almost all hotel facilities. The yoga class on the deck fronting the sea is great and is complimentary. We loved the hotel and the staff. The food was amazing, we discovered through the days the cuisine of Kerala and loved it, I did the fish market activity with the check who then prepared the fish on the same evening, it was delicious !!!! Chef Senthil is great and loves to please the guests with most tasty dishes. We enjoyed every dinner and didn’t look anywhere else, the variety of the menu made us choose a different set every dinner. Thank you so much The rooms are charming with an wooden old Indian style (there are other rooms on the rock side with more brick and mortar style but still an Indian touch). We will definitely come back, it was our best holidays ever
