Quiet, clean, helpful staff

I would like to recognize the staff at the Aurora Hotel, specifically Ms. Mia, Mr. Tee, and Mr. Andy, who were exceptional. The 3 of them went above and beyond. to make my stay enjoyable. Ms Mia was so pleasant and a joy to talk with, Mr Tee gave me some great ideas in my travel plans as an adventurer, and Mr Andy was really interested in how my day went. The rooms were to my liking, and I asked to be placed on a lower floor, which they were able to accommodate. Any restaurant, massage, excursion, etc, was within walking distance or an Uber/bus ride away. Some friends and I are already making plans to come back, and we will be staying again at this hotel. Amazing place, a little out town but very walkable into town, with an uphill trek back. Hotel has minibus service which is free and goes mainly hourly. Steve the GM is very hands on and approachable if there were a problem. The reception staff are super friendly and happy to give guidance. Rooms are spotless and have massive beds and decent bathroom with choice of shower style and also bath. The view is breathtaking and we would sit with a coffee outside after breakfast to take it in. This is a real gem of a place

HOTEL du LAC SIGNATURE is without doubt one of the finest hotels I have experienced in Asia, and the fact that it has only just opened makes it even more impressive. Everything feels brand new—polished interiors, spotless rooms, and a design that combines modern luxury with subtle charm. Beyond the facilities, it was the hospitality that left the strongest impression. On my birthday, the front desk team surprised me with a cake and gathered together to sing. It was such a thoughtful gesture that brought genuine emotion and made my stay unforgettable. These personal touches are what elevate a hotel from simply “good” to truly extraordinary. The breakfast each morning was delicious, with plenty of variety and beautifully presented dishes. Every staff member I encountered was professional, kind, and always smiling. The location is unbeatable—right in the Old Quarter, close to the famous Train Street, yet perfectly quiet once you’re inside. This hotel proves that luxury is not only about the building or the décor, but also about the way people make you feel. Here, I felt cared for, celebrated, and at home.
