The most unique thing about this property is that it primarily services active duty military personnel. I was a little put off at first unsure how I would be recived, or even viewed. I was also there during the week of Vietmamese Independence, so there were quite a few celebrations going on. As i was , I was treated respectfully, even warmly by the staff. The guest were distant but cordial, I really couldn't expect much more considering our history. There were those there like myself, with personal memories. I believe those were the most open encounters I had. The beach is amazing, I would go again just it . While this hotel isn't on the beachfront , it stands on its own and has a particular beauty that must be seen, and the price is unbelievable. A must do if going to Cam Rahn. One warning, don't buy the souvenir key rings or pens made from bullets. You'll never get them out of the Airport. I laughingly told them that they were just sending them back to the hotel for resale.
