"The location has walkable access to the many shops, restaurants, and bars that Lanesboro offers. Right across the street from Sylvan Brewery. Very short distance to biking paths. Property owners are very chill and friendly. Okay to sit on the front patio with cooler and enjoy some beverages. Rocking chairs on patio very comfortable along with beautiful flowers. "
"We had a wonderful stay at Green Gables Inn. The property was extremely clean and well appointed, which is always my top priority when traveling — and it exceeded my expectations.
Before check-in, we appreciated being able to access restrooms and filtered water since we biked the Root River Trail earlier in the day. The locked bike storage was a huge plus, providing peace of mind with secure, temperature-controlled space and plenty of outlets for charging e-bikes.
Overall, it was a comfortable and thoughtfully designed place to stay, and we would definitely return.
A couple of small recommendations that would make the experience even better:
Adding a top sheet over the bed blanket for sanitary reasons
Switching from individual packets of soap, shampoo, and conditioner to refillable bottles for convenience and sustainability

"My experience staying here was truly excellent. At first, I had some hesitation about the absence of on-site customer service for check-in. However, the host provided clear and detailed instructions by email, including the entry code and house guidelines, which made the process seamless and very easy to follow. It was just as efficient as checking into a traditional hotel.
Once settled, I found the accommodations to be exceptionally comfortable and thoughtfully maintained. The space felt welcoming, clean, and peaceful. The bed and pillows in particular were outstanding—I cannot recall the last time I slept so well. This level of comfort truly set the stay apart and exceeded my expectations.
