Leaky AC unit, humid and smelly hallways and room upon entry, “breakfast” is a bit of an overstatement. More like a bunch of strangers huddled around a single toaster trying to make toast from gas station bread. In the future, I’ll be avoiding this style/brand of hotel. However, I can say the bed was comfortable.

Room was clean. Very basic and minimal towels in rooms. Very few outlets in rooms. Also needs better blinds or curtains as they don’t keep much light out at all. Staff were lovely. Property is very run down and the halls smell like cigarette smoke but rooms didn’t smell. We only got there later and left early so was good for what we needed.

We stayed here with other family members vacationing to visit the Niagara area located 20 mins drive away. If you do not want to be in the midst of everything this is a good area to be since it isn't far from the hustle/chaos of Niagara and other busy cities. Pros: The staff were very welcoming, warm and helpful. The location is good, close to dining and useful shopping. Good for a clean space to rest for a night or 2. Cons: The property is very dated and very much in need of an upgrade especially having the Wyndham brand. Air conditioners are ancient, loud and difficult to operate. No adjoining rooms for large families. Breakfast felt lacking because items seemed packaged to go instead of a prepared meal option. There are no elevators.

Staff were very friendly, and helpful. However, my room was not great. Mainly issues in the bathroom cleanliness. Thankfully the bed was comfortable. Plus there was a very heavy perfumy air freshener smell throughout the hotel that gave me a bit of a headache. Then to top it off the air conditioner in my room crashed with a lot of noise at 3am one morning.

We love staying there, but it's only about 2 or 3 years since the stayed there. This visit The TV was busted, the shower curtain wasn't working.There was just so many little things in the room that could have been fixed.We were a little disappointed. I just feel like the hotel just needs a little bit of sprucing up or a makeover. But the staff are always lovely and the rooms are always clean.

Although the rooms were clean and quiet and the staff cordial the continental breakfast was almost non existent and lacked any eggs, meat or hot foods, although there was coffee. In summary, the cafeteria was open but not patronized by few if any guests.

The back stairwell smelled very strongly of urine. The hallways were a little bit better. The room was fairly clean at least but the smoke detector started beeping around 11:30 and continued through the night. When brought up with staff, the response was an off handed "we will take a look at that". Needless to say we did not get much sleep and will not be returning.
