We loved our stay at the Residence Carlton. A perfect spot to make home base for a few days exploring the area around Nice. Convenient, clean and close to rail lines and bus service. Great find!

Not close to what one would expect !!!!
Didn't meet the standards or promises made in their property details Parking is inadequate for the size of property 9 spaces for a 30 room property No laundry available, was when I booked Wifi was so slow it was unworkable To overcome the parking I was directed to a small patch of rough ground owned by the property, the unfortunate problem was it was the area that dog walker's used! and in order to protect the area someone would lay a heavy chain over the entrance including my car bonnet ⁸

It’s a great property for family. We were given a studio at basement with kitchen facilities. We did our laundry in the laundry room too. Aircon is working really well too. All were good except for some flies. We closed the sliding door and that solves the issue.

The location of the property is hard to beat. Close to the nice beach, bus stops, train station, many restaurants. Our studio was simple, but clean and specious. For the price it was our first choice.

Lovely town. Walkable to beach, station, restaurants, supermarket and bakery. The apartments are a little tired but they are very spacious and the two receptionist/managers were so friendly and helpful. Any requests for items were dealt with immediately. The small garden area could be better looked after and more inviting.

Location was excellent. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. However, the unit needs significant updating and attention to detail re: repairs and maintenance ( unit had lightbulbs missing, broken tile in bathroom) Also would have appreciated the shower head being attached to the wall as difficult for ‘older people’ to get in and out of the tub & use hand held nozzle. Patio area should be thoroughly cleaned & indoor chairs were stained. The unit needs a ‘makeover’ !

24 hours in Carara
Excellent hotel, in Carara, the best available for business in the loacl area. Rooms are huge, more like apartments. Lovely classy breakfast too.

La résidence a été rénovée avec goût, cependant de nombreuses nuisances des appartements voisins, mal insonorisée. Petit déjeuner buffet avec choix et personnel agréable.

Déçue
Tres tres déçue par la propreté. Il y avait des poils pubiens et cheveux dans tous les recoins du sol de la sdb et de la toilette. Ça n’a pas vraiment été réglé par l’établissement qui n’a pas voulu me déplacer dans un studio propre car ils étaient complets, alors que le soir de mon arrivée il y avait encore environ 6 nouvelles arrivées. Qqn est venu passer l’aspirateur mais sans bien comprendre mon mécontentement puisque les mêmes poils étaient encore présents dans les recoins après son passage. Apparemment la femme de chambre serait venue nettoyer le sol le lendemain mais pareil, tjs les mêmes poils aux mêmes endroits donc ça doit être moi qui ait des standards de propreté hors du commun. J’avais apprécié mon premier séjour dans la résidence mais cette fois ci Ça m’a vraiment déçue. Je me rappelais qu’il y avait une télé connectée avec Netflix et prime donc j’ai voyagé seule sans mon laptop pour regarder des films, et la télé n’était pas connectée au routeur sans fil car ils ne la connectent pas à priori pcq il y a trop de monde dans la résidence. Donc ne comptez pas sur la grande télé présente dans la chambre à part pour regarder les chaînes TV classiques.

Empfehlenswerte tolle Unterkunft
Netter Empfang und schnelle Abwicklung der Formalitäten. Das Zimmer war sehr gross; alles auf neuestem Stand. Das Bad gross mit sehr viel Abstellraum. Schade, dass die Dusche in der Badewanne ist. Da wurde nicht alles erneuert. Sehr gut gelegen für Ausflüge in jede Richtung. Kein Zimmerservice, dafür vernünftiger Preis. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Belle résidence bien placée !
Emplacement idéal à proximité de la mer des commerces et de la gare. Le studio vient d être rénové avec goût. Très bon accueil nous reviendrons.
