"Hotel de L'Amphitheatre is perfectly located. When you walk out the front door the arena is right there. Despite its very close proximity to a busy area the hotel is very quiet. We stayed for 3 nights and it was great. The room was bright, spacious and clean albeit simple. Artur was so helpful and friendly. "Hotel de L'Amphitheatre is perfectly located. When you walk out the front door the arena is right there. Despite its very close proximity to a busy area the hotel is very quiet. We stayed for 3 nights and it was great. The room was bright, spacious and clean albeit simple. Artur was so helpful and friendly. He carried our very heavy bags up to our room while we went to park the car. If you have a car it will be tricky because you can't drive into the old town. There are several underground parking garages but they are quite expensive, 28eur per day. We warned the building is ancient and well maintained but there is no elevator so ask for a room on the lower floors if possible. It is a great place to stay, I highly recommend it."
