The rooftop spa is absolutely marvelous. The hotel is just next to Oita station. Downstairs is the AMU department store that contains shops, cinema, game centre and dining selections. Will come again.

I stayed at the Myajima branch of the Grandvrio Hotel. It's very much catered to Japanese guests, and once again, I was the only European, but I don’t mind. There's plenty of room space and lots of amenities. Dinner is always nice, and breakfast is just as good. I really like the Grandvrio Hotel chain.

Nice onsen hotel but expensive.
"Beautiful onsen hotel. The only problem was their name says they are in Oijo but the are actually 50 kilometers away and the taxi ride wa 10,000 yen. You need to take a local train to Hiji and a taxi from there for 2000 yen."
