"Nice stay. We went out of season so island and hotel very quiet. Lovely service from B&B owner. Booked a family room with breakfast but ended up with two rooms...not an issue for us. No breakfast being served either, again not an issue as bakery just up the road. It was our of season so I think these were more of a miscommunication with hotels.com. Great location for Barano beach, easy to reach using no 5 bus from main bus station from ischia port."

"Loved this property. Right on the beach, family-owned business and they are so nice and welcoming. If you are ok with little to no AC (the room never gets that hot and they provide fans), and a bit of a schlep getting down the stairs to access the property, this is a 10/10."

"The sea view from the balcony was beautiful. The owner was helpful with information. Sant Angelo is worth visiting. However Hotel Sofia is not really a hotel, it is more like a Bed and Breakfast. There are no amenities for guests as would normally be found in a hotel. Also the breakfast was dissappointing. Finally the rate charged was over-priced. There is better value to be had in hotels with hotel facilities."
