Santo Estevo is a must stop! From the historical arquitectura to the extremely well kept rooms, grounds, delicious breakfast to very helpful, friendly staff, with easy parking! The grounds of magical forests with their mystical paths are a once in a lifetime experience! Highly recommend! Will return! Muchas gracias!

A beautiful place to stay for a few nights and explore close by Riviera Sacra amazing places. Rooms are small, but very comfortable and with a beautiful view of the mountains. The only thing I didn’t like is the requirement of the reservations for breakfast ( we were informed about this by staff, but still it is a place to relax). We only needed a coffee and tostada. They should be able to accommodate this without a reservation.

This hotel is pure magic. It is a little work to get to but totally worth it. The restaurant is great, the breakfast buffet offers excellent choices, the staff courteous, the room was nice and the place is gorgeous.

Room was well maintained. We had an excellent view of the canyon. The food for dinner and breakfast was amazing and the staff were very accommodating. Great service and atmosphere. The only negatives have to do with are the spa area and services. They charge to use the circuit and time limit you. The pools were warm, not hot. Some features didn't work. The Exterior hot tub should have been the crown jewel but it was tepid at best. Best features were the heated lounge chairs and the steam room. We wanted to get a massage but that needs to get booked well in advance, which is frustrating. Still, hiking around and seeing the beautiful landscape was an unforgettable experience. Well worth the stay.

Absolutely outstanding. This has been our favorite Parador to date. We were driving, and the parking was plentiful, free, and easy (on property, across from the front door). The setting was unbelievably beautiful. The hiking in the area and the scenic views around the property are breathtaking. We also booked time at the spa, and you should absolutely do this. The outdoor hot tub, the steam rooms, and the hot/cold plunge - everything was fantastic and so relaxing! Definitely worth the 30/40 euros per person. Also, you should join the Paradors club if you haven't already - you'll get discounts on things like the spa. We had dinner at the restaurant on property, and it was one of the best meals we had in the whole month of traveling around northern Spain. Dine there! From start to finish, the experience - the whole experience - was wonderful. I highly recommend staying here without any hesitation.

Beautiful property. Breakfast, cafe and restaurant all offered excellent options. Room was comfortable with plenty of pillows. Enjoyed the spa circuit (was ok, not wonderful), I would have appreciated an explanation on how to do the circuit, pretty much guessed, only one clock so didn’t really know how long I was a each station. Other than that, wonderful and relaxing stay.

A truly unique property and a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature. The Ribeira Sacra is absolutely breathtaking, and staying at the Parador feels as if time has stopped. An unforgettable experience

The setting is fantastic, almost on a mountain top. The hotel is an old monastery with 3ft wide walls and wonderful views of nature. They have a full spa to relax. We took one of the many walking routes around the hotel. Highly recommend if you like hiking through tons of greenery. The temperature was warm during the day and cool at night. All personnel we interacted with was very helpful and amicable. I recommend contacting the hotel directly if you are not driving from Ourense, our navigator got a bit confused.

A truly wonderful hotel, a historic landmark. An old monastery completely renovated for a hotel. Great rooms, restaurant, and services. Getting there a bit hard, as roads are very windy. However, there are spectacular views and clean air. It is very quiet at night, no nightlife or shopping around, but you will not need any if you there to relax and enjoy! Highly recommend!
