"This hostel was much better than many four star hotels we've stayed at! Everything was smooth and convenient. The room and the entire property were clean and well-maintained and they have everything you need to have a comfortable stay. There's even a breakfast available at a very reasonable price. Just remember to bring your own bedding and towels or you will have to rent some! If we ever get back to Denmark, we will be staying in a lot more of these hostels!"

"The property was impeccably clean and very well maintained. Most importantly, Vicky and her team were wonderful; they were incredibly friendly, accommodating, and helpful, treating us like family throughout our visit. The breakfast service was a particular highlight, the spread was fresh and delicious every morning. The location is excellent, situated within walking distance of a supermarket and pharmacy, and just a short drive to the beautiful shore of the North Sea, several local museums, and various activities. I highly recommend this hotel."

"Super cool place. So much character for a very old hotel. Only drawback was shared washroom but luckily we were the only ones staying there. Location is suburb. I wished we could have stayed longer in Ribe"

"The staff is excellent. Overall the food was very good. The accommodations are OK for the age and condition of the building. Definitely need to upgrade the mattresses. They have lived a good life, but I need to be retired. Wonderful views overall excellent experience."

"Prided for being the oldest hotel in Denmark, you can feel its history the moment you step into the lobby, with its charming period furnishings. If you want a true taste of history, this is the place to stay. The rooms are adequate and warm, though ours had a rather slanted floor. The location is excellent.. right next to the cathedral and at the start of Ribe’s old street, two of the town’s main attractions. A small hiccup during check-in: there was no one at reception, and calls to the provided number went unanswered, which meant we couldn’t access the private parking. Breakfast, however, was fantastic, with a nice variety of options."
