This cape is located on the northern coast of the Magerøya Island and is considered one of the northernmost points of Europe. North Cape features a cliff about 1,000 feet (300 metres) high. North Cape Hall shows short films in a unique panoramic cinema and features exhibits about the region. This tourist centre is open year-round. The cape also includes restaurants, cafés and one of the world’s northernmost post offices. Tour the Saint Johannes Kapell in North Cape, a very small ecumenical chapel that is popular for weddings.
Book a wildlife safari and observe birds, including gannets, puffins and cormorants. Take a deep-sea fishing charter and catch some of the largest fish in the Arctic Ocean.
