Couldn't wish for a better view outside the apt. Very affordable, clean bed, kitchen if required. Smidge out of town but no problem if you have a car. It was a great place to start our holiday.

Parking was safe. Required some care to access road with passing traffic. Staff were very friendly. The apartment was up to a good standard of cleanliness. Great views from National Park although road access could do with more attention.

Very dated motel with basic facilities. But front units have wonderful view of Flinders Island. If you don’t mind roughing it a bit then for the price this is fine.

Location is beautiful with views across the historic Kingston precinct which is only a short walk down the hill - albeit a fairly steep walk.

We had an ocean view room which had a lovely long balcony overlooking Kingston, and rolling hills. It is a cosy unit, with comfy beds, and the master bedroom had amazing views from big windows.
This is not a modern complex, but adequate for our needs, and nice and quiet being out of town.

Great location with a beautiful view of Kingston.
Carpet needs replacing and furnishing outdated.
Adequate cooking facilities. Good tv reception.
Our unit faced south, so every morning we woke up to a view of Elizabeth Bay. Wonderful.
Host Brett answered all our questions and made suggestions where to eat and what to see.
You will need to rent a car as there is no transportation on the island.

A Little Bit Of Paradise
We were return visitors to Norfolk Island as it is one of our favourite holiday destinations. We love the scenery and the very relaxed feel of the Island. The locals make you feel most welcome. The shopping is not as comprehensive as it used to be but still has a very interesting variety of goods to choose from. Unfortunately the roads have deteriorated significantly and dodging the potholes is a test of a drivers skills. A shame really as a hire car is a necessary component of a holiday on Norfolk. Overall any downside is quickly forgotten when you reach each of the very many scenic spots where the views are simply amazing. The views from the Panorama Apartments are lovely. We will hopefully return sometime in the future.

Its location is well above Kingston, which is a bit of a ghost settlement (as its World Heritage suggests); Kingston proper is the historic former penal colony. Panorama has spectacular views seaward, especially of Philip and Nepean islands. A short downhill walk brings one to the extensive late 18th & 19th-century stone buildings -- and well worth visiting. The Kingston pier is functional and a source of fresh fish to be bought from local fishermen; the sharks await the offal thrown to them. Don't swim either side of the pier! Parking is available outside Panorama. Panorama possesses the usual facilities which one might expect. The owner, Brett, appears to be both affable and helpful; we could not fault him. Washing/drying facilities on the ground floor were most useful. Despite the many potholes on almost every road, your visit will be enhanced by hiring a car. The village of Burnt Pine, source of food, restaurants, services etc.) is otherwise quite a walk away (mostly uphill!). You will enjoy the stillness of the Norfolk Island generally and the clean/clear air which make viewing the stars at night a special treat.

These apartments are heritage listed, so we understand that it's old. But we could hear every footstep of the people in the room above and the floors creaked loudly so this sometimes woke us during the night. Some of the furniture needs replacing. When we sat in the lounge chairs, we nearly went right through them. The bed mattress was very very soft to the point of being uncomfortable, so that needs replacing. We also killed quite a few cockroaches during the week. Luckily spray was supplied. The owner is lovely. Our sea view was sensational. We loved the Island, but wouldn't go back.
