"The rooms were tired. It seems like a great family resort with a ton of kids. The water in the room is nasty. I think it’s the whole town though. The staff was great and the pools are abundant. They have 1 adult pool. There is a burger bar across the street that has great seafood ironically. "

"I specifically booked my stay at St Pete Shores Hotel the night before my half marathon because I wanted a relaxing, stress-free environment near the ocean. Unfortunately, my experience was the exact opposite. From the moment I arrived, I had ongoing issues with my room key not working. After multiple attempts and repeated trips to get it resolved, I explained the situation to maintenance, expecting assistance. Instead, I was met with accusations that I was being dishonest in order to get a different room, which was both unprofessional and frustrating. The lack of basic customer service and the way this situation was handled completely overshadowed what should have been a calm and important night before my race. I would not recommend staying here, especially if you’re expecting a smooth and accommodating experience."

"Right on the Beach!!! I have stayed at Plaza Beach many times. I Love that it is a small 2 story hotel. Easy acess to pool and beach. Plenty of restaurants just a short walk on the beach or on land. Plaza Beach now owns their section of the Beach. This is very nice as it only allows guest of Plaza Beach and their 2 "sister" Hotels access to this area. They do however want you to rent their umbrellas & chairs at $20 per item. So, 2 chairs 1 umbrella = $60.00 plus tax. I would recommend buying 2 chairs at Walgreens across the street and rent the umbrella. We had an 11yr old & an 8yr old with us and I love that the rooms, pool & beach were all close together so we didnt have to worry about them going to the pool or room by themselves if they needed to. The entire Staff was Wonderful!!! "

"The hotel is lovely, but they have some challenges that affected my stay and my overall opinion of the property. We waited 45 minutes in line to check in due to a system shutdown. The toilet in our room cycled all night, keeping us up, and requiring a room change. The hotel then didn’t recognize our prepaid room and charged me again for the room nights, pulling the funds from my bank account and adding undue charges to my credit card. It was an unfortunate experience that will prevent me from wanting to stay there again, which is disappointing because I love the location and beauty of the building. "

"Fell short of expectations for the price. Many things to like about this "boutique" hotel- the design, well-trained staff, restuarant overlooking bay, valet parking, location. However, many things NOT to like. While bayside (pool & restaurant) views are lovely, other side overlooks a busy, loud street. Enjoyed shuttle to beach, but not the walk back (on the busy road) when they failed to answer 3 calls for a pickup. Pool closed due to broken glass in the pool, knocked over the edge of the restaurant balcony directly above (design/safety issue needs to be addressed) pool area had used towels on ground and on chairs for several hours, no pool staff in sight, Rooftop closed for wedding, only left one small corner open for hotel guests, no bar service (an amenity we looked forward to enjoying). Carpets in hallway badly stained and also appeared dirty. Room nice enough, bathroom dated. The major disappointment was booking and pre-paying for a premium king balcony view room, and being told upon check-in that it was not available, they were 100% booked. They offered drink vouchers and $100 off the room, on the lowest floor with a street/parking lot view. Staff claimed they would contact Expedia for partial refund, but did not. Several calls from Expedia and myself to the manager were not returned, I don't expect that Hotel Zamora management will do the right thing. I'm not the first with this complaint (read the negative reviews). If you expect luxury and honesty, book elsewhere"
