"Well furnished rooms but on this stay there was quite a bad smell coming from the bathroom. Movement from upstairs carries quite loudly into the ground floor rooms so every step and floorboard creak heard below."

"Room was clean and comfortable the bed felt different like I'd got another duvet or something on top of the mattress, but when I checked it out in the morning it turned out to be a 2-3 inch foam mattress, so comfortable top marks!!!. And a nice touch also were the complimentary toiletries and earplugs, I'm not aware of anywhere doing that (earplugs). I'd definitely use the chain again. The only negative thing is the car parking I was there around 12hrs and was told at reception that I pay the machine when I leave and it was only £8 for 24hrs yet I was charged £8 SHOULD BE FREE TO GUESTS enter reg at reception job done"

"The hotel is great, just think the bar is understaffed and slow service. The hotel would benefit from an experienced bar staff. That said the staff are pleasant they just lack the bar training and experience. "

"My wife and our two young children arrived at 6pm to be told that the prepaid family room, booked and paid for two months in advance, was unavailable because the hotel had overbooked. That is a breach of the booking we paid for, and the explanation given ("it's what the airlines do") was wholly inadequate. In a frustrated and passive aggressive tone, the male reception staff member even said “I’ve had to deal with this stuff all day!” My wife was left stranded hours from home with one autistic child, while the reception staff were dismissive and unhelpful. The options offered were unreasonable: 1) separate rooms for a mother and young children (expecting one of the children to stay in a room on her own!), 2) a twin room for two children to share a single bed, or 3) find another hotel. After escalation, the hotel eventually arranged alternative accommodation in a Ramada hotel 10 minute’s drive away, but it was inferior, in a less suitable location, and required my wife to walk from a separate carpark in an undesirable area at night with children and luggage. Ultimately, the hotel failed to provide a reasonable alternative promptly, and its handling of the matter fell far below any acceptable standard of care. We incurred distress, inconvenience, and a clear loss of the service we contracted for. We will not return and I would urge anyone to reconsider using this hotel."

"Still a new hotel- very clean. Breakfast was good. Location is excellent and parking is available too. The lifts are abit slow as theres 9 floors but as I was on floor 2 i was more than happy to take the stairs to get my steps in. My kids loves the hotel and the shopping mall is literally opposite the road with every shops you could find. I would recommend it if you plan to go to Leicester. This is my second visit but definitely better this time round."
