"The service was excellent and check in/out was easy. The room was clean and well appointed with a nice balcony and terrific view of Lake Tahoe. We will stay here again (during the shoulder season when Tahoe rates are affordable. Ha!)"

"We had a wonderful time. Being in a top floor, we had vaulted ceilings, spacious two bedroom and 2.5 bathrooms. A large fully equipped kitchen. W/D, fireplace, deep tubs…it was so nice. Our east side view also gave us the wonderful AM sunlight streaming thru our bedrooms in the morning. I would recommend doing spot cleaning for the couches and carpets. We also were almost back broken due to the stiff mattresses. Few issues that we made work: jacuzzi was out of order during the visit, fire pits were not functional during the visit, and since it was “spring cleaning” week, we found only 3-4 shops open. But-I would def stay here again, and bring 5 more friends with me."

Compared to other hotels, this feels newer and nicer, without the hefty price tag. The staff were great and I loved the quick communication via text. It is also within walking distance of restaurants and shops. I'll likely only stay at Basecamp in the future. "
