Indifferent staff, late check-in despite requesting an early check in, lack of urgency with desk staff, late housekeeping delayed getting into my room. Offered to get ready for a TIFF premiere in the bathroom which was flooded and had a broken toilet. Upon giving the feedback that I felt rushed and disappointed overall in the hospitality, front desk staff offered me a $25 breakfast credit at 11A when I was already leaving and upon writing to the director of operations 3x in the last month I have yet to receive a reply.
I had hoped that this hotel would be a must-book for next year to attend the festival, but I find myself deeply disappointed overall that having paid a luxury price, I did not receive a luxury experience.
