Inn at the Beach

10/10 Excellent

"What a fabulous experience we had! The location, staff and room were all perfect. The only thing that I would change is the check in time, 4 pm is a bit late. We were offered chairs, umbrellas and towels for the beach but opted to go downtown. Love the shops, food and cleanliness! Sorry we couldn’t stay another day. We highly recommend the Inn by the beach!"

"Ww found out prior to our stay that the property was sold recently and that the new owners had plans to renovate it so we were concerned as to what that might mean for the condition of the property. Once we got there. We were happy to see that all the positive reviews we read were accurate! The room was spacious - more condo than hotel room/suite, and the view from our room was great! We loved the convenience of shopping and restaurants right below the suites. The only negatives about our room was that the AC didn’t work well in the 2nd bedroom. We didn’t bother mentioning it to the hotel since it was just my husband and I and we chose to sleep in the first bedroom. However, we did let them know at checkout. The other minor issue was the 2nd elevator closest to our room was out of order so we had to walk the top floor hallway with our luggage. Honestly, it wasn’t a big deal. Might be something to consider if you’re used to having help with ur luggage. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the surrounding area and would be happy to go back again soon! PS if you like local spots with good music, try Shortys. Great prices, super casual but welcoming."

8/10 Good

"Staff was great ( especially Barbara Jean), facility was good. If there are any negatives they would be 1) Room had a rather strong musty odor. Went to Publix to get a room air freshener. 2) No dresser in the room, lived out of a suit case for a week. 3) No room safe. 4) Shower water pressure was non-existent. The Hotel would be great for an overnight or two but would look elsewhere for anything longer."
