"We stayed at the motel portion over the weekend, 2 adults and 2 children. Location is great, within short distance to the Village and with many nearby restaurants. The room was clean and cozy with modern amenities. Reception staff were available and always courteous and helpful. The refrigerator came in handy as well. Shower drain in the unit was slow initially but the staff remedied that quickly. Lighting over the sink is somewhat dim, making it difficult to see the luggage area nearby in the dark. There is parking in front of the motel building but it fills up depending on occupancy, in which case one would have to find parking further away next to other property buildings. Its not a long walk but when coming back late with sleeping children can be a mild annoyance. Overall we enjoyed our stay."

"I was planning my Big Bear get-away a few months ago and was taking into consideration, price, location and activities. This place checked all the boxes and was literally close to everything. Staff was very friendly and room was very cozy. Food is within a 5 - 10-minute walk. Nice little shops all over and everyone is so friendly. if you want a nice little relaxing weekend or 3-day weekend, this is it. The lake was right next to the motel if you wanted to take a walk there. I highly recommend this place!"

"The property is beautiful. Always clean and well kept. The staff is top notch and always make us feel welcome. The kitchen is useful, could use a few more utensils and a cookie sheet, not just a pizza tray. Other than that, the beds are very comfortable. The bathrooms are spacious and luxurious (for Big Bear) and it’s very quiet. The best part is once you park, everything is pretty much walking distance."

"The smoke detector kept going off even after the staff member gave us a new battery to replace ourselfs. Also Jason was very helpful and personal. Two major down falls: the stairs are extremely dangerous and steep. The second we were told we could bring a bbq and then told we couldn’t use it however, someone else was using theirs."

"We stayed here over the 4th of July weekend and had a great experience overall. The room was spacious, comfortable, and having a mini fridge was a nice bonus. Coffee is available in the lobby, which didn't bother us, although some guests may prefer an in room coffee maker. The location is excellent, just a short walk to the main street with easy access to the lake and boat rentals. The restaurant on the property is also fantastic. The pizzas are delicious! We especially enjoyed watching the fireworks from our balcony, and the staff was friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. A couple of areas could use some attention. The curtains and wool blanket could use a thorough cleaning. It's a dog friendly hotel. Our biggest complaint was the music. It's a beautiful, peaceful location, so it was disappointing that loud music started playing before 8 both mornings. One day it began at 7:15 and the next at 7:45 (day after the fireworks). We were looking forward to enjoying a quiet cup of coffee on the balcony, but the loud music made that difficult. The pool music was also louder than necessary. Despite that, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely consider returning."

"First time staying at a best western signature collection. Staff were amazing but the hotel itself is very outdated. The hallways could use some renovation as well as the carpets. I booked the 2 queen beds with balcony and our view unfortunately was someone’s backyard so we did not utilize the balcony whatsoever. The bathroom was less than ideal because you could see wall patches and unfinished paint. Complimentary breakfast was decent. Overall it was average stay for a busy holiday weekend"
