You should not have had this issue because there is a fan that has to be turned on to circulate the air between the other room. The room sizes on listed on the website. Hi Lisha,Your review is an unfair assessment of our business. There was a fire at the substation that provides electricity for the island. The entire island was without power due to the fire, which is completely out of our control. Every business, motel, homeowner, traffic light and street light was without power. Every single person on the island was dealing with the same issues. We couldn't accept credit cards because of the power outage. When you checked in, you knew about the power outage and you chose to stay because you stated you had plans and were not going to be at the motel much anyway. Thankfully, a majority of our guests were very understanding and patient of the situation knowing it was completely out of our control. Have a wonderful summer!

Thank you for your review. We actually started remodeling the bathrooms this past winter. If you check out photos of the type 6 rooms, you'll see the work we've done. Unfortunately, we cannot do the entire building all at once due to cost, shortage of supplies and shortage of workers but we will do more once the summer is over. We are constantly making upgrades; new mattresss, tvs, appliances, wifi, etc. We hope you'll give us another try soon!

The Condor Motel promotes a family environment so all of our guests can have an enjoyable stay. We have a wonderful clientele of families who have enjoyed our clean and very well maintained atmosphere for over 35 years. The many positive reviews and return guests can attest to this. The building has a night light system that lights up the steps and walkways in the evening for the safety of our guests. You checked in at 11pm and those lights were on at that time. As stated on the website, the pool closes at 8 pm. Your reservation was confirmed and charged for four(4) persons. It is clearly stated that rates are based on four(4) guests and additional guests will incur a fee. When you reserved through hotels.com, you put in the number of guests that would be vacationing and that did not match the number of guests that checked in. At check in, when asked if you had additional guests, you did register and pay for two(2) extras but both you and your friend continually denied you had a third child with you. After several attempts to confirm the name of the third guest with you, we finally got her name on the registration, and as a courtesy, you were not charged. Not having all guests registered becomes a liability issue. The same way that you misrepresented yourself about the number of guests you actually had staying in the room, you are now misrepresenting our motel on a social media platform and it is not appreciated. Our staff was very accommodating of all your issues, as there were more that we are choosing not to disclose on a public forum. All policies are clearly stated on the website and all booking outlets, you just have to read them.

Yes, we are a nice motel and in a great location. Upon check in, all of our guests are explained about the incidentals that would be charged on their pre-authorization charge (which includes no smoking on the property). And yet, you violated the smoking policy. Because the staff made you aware of the policy, you said it was unprofessional and biased to you. Your opinion -- Ours is, we have a wonderful and professional staff.
