Room very basic, tired, dated. Smelt like strong bleach. Furniture scuffed. No wardrobe or drawers for clothes. Shower was hot and powerful though
Easy check in (at the pub). Comfortable accommodation. Great shower. Parking just outside the door. Great affordable food at the pub. Lovely walk along the canal on the doorstep. Very friendly staff.
A wonderful gem in a stunning location. The pub is great, the accommodation comfortable and good value. The food we had was lovely from a menu with good variety.
The owners and staff were friendly and helpful.
Very happy to recommend
We arrived at 17:45 on the Sunday, to find that the kitchen closed at 18:00. We had just walked 14 miles as part of our Grand Union Canal walk for Yorkshire Cancer Research. The staff were very accommodating and we were well fed!
The shock was when we received the receipt for the meals and a few beers and a 10% service charge had been added. We were not asked whether we wanted to pay that. Given the circumstances, we would probably have agreed to it, but it would have been nice to be asked.
Lovely pub garden and beautiful canal walks, stayed to be close to a friends house, reasonable price for the self contained rooms

Good priced accommodation.
The Narrowboat hotel pub was average but served its purpose which was to provide affordable accommodation near to a venue where we were attending a wedding. The rooms were basic, would have benefited from being ‘aired’ as they smelt musty. Our front door looked like someone had tried to force it open but it was secure- all just a little tired! The breakfast we had in the pub was lovely and the staff were welcoming and friendly. Accommodation was fairly priced for the facilities offered and the food was good value. The location being next to the canal was lovely.
Great little place to stay with really welcoming and friendly staff. We had a beautiful clean and cosy warm room with all the options as described in our booking. We dined in the restaurant and the food was tasty and well prepared. We would definitely stay here again. Easy walk to some local trails and town was an easy walk or drive down the road. Thank you
Pub is closed on Sunday evenings and Monday morning so only contact we had was to pick key up, so cannot really comment on service.
Lodge was clean but looking a bit tired, but was fine for a one night stay.
Very good value for money , clean and all facilities you need. Dont do breakfast but recommend a cafe called Granny’s in Weedon which was excellent. We had an evening meal at the narrow boat which was very good

No breakfast, not good for winter
Rooms are separate from the pub. Single glased windows and only a small electric heater, would be nice in summer but cold it the winter. Shower had a 5 minute delay before it started. No breakfast but this was not stated when booking
Great value for money. Quick and easy check in and decent facilities.

Stop over
A bit dated
Small tv could do with new but works fine
WiFi excellent
Shower pressure not the best shower hose needs a clean
Bed comfortable
Plenty of tea and coffee kettle needs replacing
Overall ok for a stopover
Staff very good check in easy
Food at the adjoining pub very good
Short business trip on my own so just needed a cheap place for a couple of nights. Was very pleased I booked the Narrow Boat though as it was first class and not at all expensive so definitely very good value for money.
The room was one of 8 in 2 purpose build accommodation buildings at the end of the car park. Good size room with a bathroom with a spacious and effective shower. Good comfortable double bed plus usual Tea, coffee, kettle, TV, bottled water and some biscuits. There was a good sized table ideal for working at (a definite plus on a business trip), good wifi and free parking directly outside the room. All very good.
Had dinner in the restaurant both nights. Interesting menu with choice of tempting courses and the food was excellent. Had a glass of wine with dinner and it was quality stuff.
Amused that the bar is very dog friendly - even had a stand with a choice of dog biscuits, a water bowl and dog towels, probably essential when you are next to a canal.
Nice friendly bar staff and my room was serviced and re-stocked which does not always happen these days.
Hope I get some more work in the area as I would not mind going back there.
Nice room with a comfy bed and nice bathroom.
£10 charge on arrival to check in early.
10:30am check out but nothing is open (rooms are separate to the pub building) until 12am so you have to post the key through the letterbox and can’t get a coffee or breakfast.
A ideal canal side pub/restaurant with cabin style accommodation. We had a double bed with ensuite shower room
The bed was clean and comfortable, tv and wifi with good signal. Gardens with seating and play area with views over the Grand Union canal and moorings. No breakfast service but recommdation for a nearby cafe.
Good value for money.
The pub is lovely, the service and food excellent, location and atmosphere perfect, the guest rooms were serviceable and tidy, peaceful and offered a good night sleep!
Very comfortable room in a building across the carpark from the Inn, meaning no disturbance from pub chatter etc. Plenty of parking. The inn itself had a good menu, good service and a relaxed ambience. Right next to the Grand Union canal for a tow path walk.
