Tally-Ho Inn
10/10 Excellent
"Lakeview serene, quiet, clean cabin. Staff okay. Not overly friendly but available."
Super 8 by Wyndham Sault Ste Marie On
10/10 Excellent
"The perfect place to stay as we made our way across Canada! Free on-site parking, great location near a few restaurants, a completely updated room that was large and clean with handy features (like wall hooks near the door, roomy mini fridge with a freezer so we could refreeze our cooler ice packs), comfy beds and a simple TV interface (some hotel TVs are tough to figure out or slow to load). The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially in the breakfast room (breakfast was yummy and included - waffle maker!) We would definitely stay here again."
Travelodge by Wyndham North Bay
8/10 Good
"This hotel gives good value for the price, the beds are comfortable except for the pillows which need to be upgraded and maybe the comforters. The breakfast is adequate and the counter staff were very helpful and polite. The location is very good for getting around North Bay."
The Grand Tappattoo Resort, an Ascend Collection Resort
8/10 Good
"We stayed at the Grand Tappattoo for 4 days and 3 nights and it was pretty comfortable. The resort is easily accessible and surrounded by tall trees and lakes adding to the quite and serenity of nature. The rooms were simple, spacious and were cleaned on demand. The staff was very helpful as well. We had a few issues on the first night of our stay and they acted on it promptly. We had access to kayaks and canoes all day long which added big time to the fun and relaxing stay, To our surprise, there was provision for bonfire at night and we had a good time watching the sunset. The breakfast was included with our stay (which is not a common find in the area), but items on the menu were mostly on repeat. Not many options for vegans and vegetarians. The pool was sadly closed for renovation during our stay and opened on our last day, which was unfortunate. Overall, a nice resort to spend a long weekend with family to unwind and reconnect with nature. I would recommend this place for a family with kids and grandparents."
