Beach Resorts in Northeastern Pennsylvania

"The amenities were fun, loved the pool and spa in particular. Their food services could certainly be better. Tried their buffet and the food was cold and very bland. And the place that serves pizza in their resort area tastes like 7/11 pizza. $9 for an 8” pizza just seemed a bit of a rip off lol. Overall we loved the stay. Wish dominoes or other reasonable prices restaurants were nearby. We will bring our own food next time and just make use of the fridge and microwave."

"We really enjoyed our brief stay! The hotel was very clean and well managed. Our kids loved the pool/hot tub, and the breakfast options in the morning were fantastic. We had no issues with our room and had no disruptions while sleeping. We'd happily book another stay if we ever come through the area again!"

"This was my first visit to Jim Thorpe. The positive reviews for the Inn did not disappoint. It was right in the middle of the attractions. Walking distance to the train, the trolley and restaurants. A big plus to not have to pay for parking. The facility itself was very pleasant, friendly, clean and. comfortable. I enjoyed sitting on the 2nd floor balcony with a glass of wine and a book. Thank you to those from the front desk reception to the restaurant/pub staff for making my birthday week...

"This lakeside Inn is just the getaway we needed from NY. The room was basic but just right. There was a tiny sandy

and we were able to swim in the lake. It was also nice to have kayaking and rowing right there for us to do. The property is well taken care of and there are a couple of restaurants within walking distance. We plan to return here!’m. "

"The Lackawanna Station hotel is beautiful, hailing from the same era as Grand Central Station in NYC. Room prices are very reasonable. Rooms are large. City views are great. Bathrooms could be updated, but are clean, well supplied and totally acceptable, unless you’re very picky. Expect services to be a little slow, but still a very good overall value, in a marvelous historic building. "
