"Very comfortable and clean room. Enjoyed the use of the spa facilities. Delicious breakfast with lots of choice. Good location close to the city centre. Helpful that could use a parking space in the basement."

"The room was nice and comfy, literally felt like the comfort of my own home but away from home. Breakfast doesn’t consist of many options but is set to the same meals so be aware that you’ll be eating the same thing for breakfast for the duration of your stay. The staff were so friendly and so helpful at every point, communication was top notch too as they spoke good English. The hotel is at the end of the strip, directly across is the Beach with free sun beds. Room gets cleaned and refreshed every day which is definitely a nice thing to have. Overall I’d definitely recommend this hotel."

"What an amazing stay truly! From the staff (special shoutout to Orhan at reception) to amenities everything was unbelievably amazing. Would highly recommend to either go for dinner or get room service because the food was delicious. The spa was gorgeous and had everything you’d need - and it comes with a view! Would come back to Albania just to stay at this hotel"
Sol Tropikal Durres

"Sol Tropikal was a nice spacious hotel to stay at. The bathroom was very nice, extra large bed and a massive balcony. The room came with a large sofa as well. The cleaners are very good and mopped the floors everyday. Generally very nice staff and atmosphere. I would say a good family friendly hotel. Easy short walk/access to pool and beach. Adult and child pool very good water level. Very enjoyable for all age. Clean beach and everything well maintained, would 100% recommend. Breakfast was very basic we only had it 2 days out of the 6 day stay as it wasn't something we would want to eat, wish they had more authentic items like borek or different. Just a small variety of basic stuff so not interesting for adults or kids. Therefore didn't eat at the hotel at any time. Outside there is local shops and restaurant (halal) but we chose to travel around Durres for restaurants. There is no porters at this hotel therefore expect to deal with your own luggage, they did help us as we had two young children in prams which was nice of them. No iron in the room but we asked house keeping and they gave us one which was very good. Reception is in a different building to the actual room we stayed at. It is located around 5 mins away with no staff in the building, so each time you need to go to reception you have to travel to another building. Generally very good."

"Absolutely beautiful hotel, wonderful staff, so helpful and friendly. The room was perfect, so comfortable. The pool and restaurant is also beautiful and breakfast was incredible. We couldn’t recommend this hotel enough, so impressed and we will definitely be coming back. We couldn’t have asked for anything more, we loved it, it was heaven"
