Hotel La Casa de Don Tomas

"Overall a nice stay at El Refugio La Casa de Don Tomas. The room is big and quiet and the location is roughly 10 minutes away from city center. Keep in mind that the rooms have no air conditioning so they get quite stuffy during the day. The breakfast is quite disappointing as itโs very basic. The sweet treats are very good which makes it overall a bit strange that the meal offering is so basic."

"Location was amazing. I was originally worried that it would be noisy because itโs so central, but it was quiet. The staff were AMAZING! I chatted with Christian a lot which made me change up our itinerary a little bit and it was definitely for the best. The pool was bit too cold for me since we went in May (felt like a cold plunge the one time I went), but it was still nice to lay out. Absolutely recommend this location."

"The hotel is a very nice eco friendly hotel indeed with quite nice amenities. The hotel at times is hard to find given the roads that lead into it arenโt easy to navigate. The staff at times arenโt there at reception but overall quite a good stay indeed for the price and note that the area around the property has no shops so you have to ensure u have a car. The property also has cats and dogs on property which for animal lovers like us is really nice experience too interacting with them."

"Great staff! Attentive and eager to help. The hotel itself was pristine! Beautuful and very well suited for the ambient surroundings. They offer several tours, both full and half day, the ones we took were wonderfull. Would definately recommend!!"
