"Our stay was really great other than the fact that we had to change rooms after unpacking all of our things because your heat in our room wasn't working and it was the middle of winter. We couldn't swim because the pool was under construction. There is a bowling alley in the basement, but when we went down to reserve Lanes, there was a party that had rented the whole thing out, so my kids were very disappointed. We were therefore a dance competition, so there wasn't a lot of time to leave and go...

"My husband and I come to Dubuque every year for the Holidazzle and to relax and enjoy the downtown area. We had the best stay at the Holiday Inn - it was fabulous! The staff is incredible friendly and helpful, special shout-outs to Barb at the front desk for being so fun and welcoming, to Amber in the lounge/restaurant for taking awesome care of us all weekend and to Jeff the shuttle driver for giving us rides to dinner and back on such a dangerously cold night - this was an AWESOME perk!!!...

"Really nice bartender in the evening same as the morning, even accommodated my 80-yr old dad's request that the pretzel bites be microwaved not fried so he could eat them (esophageal cancer patient). Great cocktails, pretty space, good food. Beds were comfortable and rooms nice and clean, wish they had had a hot tub not just a pool, but nice facilities. "
