"Our host was very caring and easy to reach. Excellent property for a short stay in Porto Rotondo. Olbia airport and other towns of Costa Smeralda like Porto Cervo and San Pantaleo are less than 30 minutes by drive. Property is located 10 minutes by walk from Porto Rotondo Marina and free parking outside the property on the street was available during our stay (before 1 June). "Location is quiet - just outside of the hustle and bustle of the town. Staff is “helpful” but the follow through is less to be desired. Asking for a taxi, they’ll call their shuttle service and will cost twice as much. Transport in general is crazy expensive. The pool is nice, especially on hot days."

"We spent four nights at this property, and overall, it was a 10 out of 10 experience, especially the staff who provided exceptional service from beginning to end. The highlights of the property include clean rooms, a refreshing and well-maintained pool excellent after a long day of sightseeing in the Sardinian heat, a delicious breakfast, including everything necessary to start your day, a great beach (not on property) with drink and food service, and an amazing after hours bartender (Gabriele) who made our stay extra special by always taking the time to speak with us. The only con is the distance into town. It’s a 15 to 20 minute walk, and with the Sardinian heat, it was too long. We tried it once and then opted to drive into town."

"Our stay at Abi d’Oru was simply unforgettable and exceeded all of our expectations. From the very first welcome to our final farewell, every member of the team made us feel genuinely cared for. Everyone greeted us with warm smiles, kindness, and sincere hospitality throughout our stay. Before we even arrived, the concierge team helped us organize transfers and excursions with great patience and professionalism, making our trip completely stress-free. Once we arrived, every interaction with the staff at the front, the restaurants, the pool, actually everywhere was wonderful. In fact, there were so many people who made our stay special that it became impossible to remember every name—we wish we could thank each of them personally. The natural beauty surrounding the resort is breathtaking. The crystal-clear sea, peaceful atmosphere, and beautiful gardens created the perfect place to relax and enjoy precious family time. This trip was especially meaningful because it was our daughter’s last family vacation before she begins her professional career next year. Thanks to everyone at Abi d’Oru, it became a truly unforgettable memory that our family will cherish forever. We also love the beautiful souvenir from the hotel, which we will treasure as a reminder of our wonderful stay. Thank you to everyone at Abi d’Oru for making us feel so welcome. The Pelican Beach Resort & SPA - Adults Only

8/10 Good

"Great hotel location. Small rooms but adequate. Lovely small private beach but the sun loungers were quite expensive. 40 Euros per person daily. Garden shower bottom by the beach was filthy. Lots of leaves blocking it and stagnant water, for at least three days while we were there here. Impossible to stand in it. Reported this issue at the reception to no avail. It’s a shame, no attention to details. Despite it, we loved to stay there. The receptionists were great especially Stefania who has gone out of her way to help us."
