"This is an amazing property built in the late 60's. Very rustic and built into a rock mountain with fantastic views over the Northern Serengeti. You must appreciate rustic and that not always will you have power and hot water, it is very very remote and difficult to get to. I'm an adventurer and this was my favorite of all the places we stayed, but not for everyone. It could use some maintenance, but overall the food was great and is a one of a kind accommodation. We booked and paid for...
"This camp was definitely a luxury level property with beautiful, comfortable rooms and an accommodating staff. We were alone in camp for the one night we were there, but it seemed that was an anomaly since a full camp was being prepared for when we left.
The food was delicious, the sleep comfort was great the wildlife all around made the most awesome sounds. We also had many opps to experience the migration of wildebeests, zebras and antelopes throughout our drives to and from the camp.

"The location of the hotel listed on Hotels.com is incorrect. Since there are no signs indicating the hotel’s direction from the road, it would have been impossible to find it on our own. Thankfully, the rangers escorted us, and we were able to locate it.
The Wi-Fi is not working.
That said, the staff is excellent—always kind and helpful. The food is delicious, and the lunch box service is especially valuable when heading out on a game drive."
"We booked this lodge almost a year ago. It is a new and there were no reviews at the time of booking. We arrived at 1330 and we were not able to access our room until 1400. Once we entered the room the temperature was well over 90F/32C. There is no fan in the room. There are two small windows in the rear, however there is no screen to keep the bugs out. When we went to the front desk to request a portable fan were we told none were available. We ended up sitting outside the room until 1800. We...
"Ok experience. Nothing more and nothing less. Two Norwegians pretty used to comfort and good accommodations, and this wasn’t all the way as expected at this price level, even though it’s Serengeti.
The staff were very bad in English, so we found ourselves lost in translation very often. Which made planning a safari a bit of a challenge. However, our safari guide was fantastic.
The food was ok, but variety was not good at all.
The worst: This hotel is MUCH more expensive than they disclose...
"Remote glamping. Feels like a miracle that this camp in the middle of the Serengeti has hot water, electricity, Internet, and white tablecloth dining. Staff are friendly and helpful. This is not for the faint hearted or light sleeper. There are delightful animal noises at night. Baboons come into the camp at dusk. You need an escort to the dining tent after dark (easily arranged by telephone). I had a buffalo outside my tent one night. I never felt unsafe though.
I would strongly recommend to...
"Pour les amoureux de l'aventure c'est l'emplacement idéal, un acceuil tres chaleureux, un personel très gentil, un chef cuisinier superbe, les tentes sont très bien équipées, en milieux de la nuit on entend les rugissements des lions, c'est une aventure agréable."

"This camp has given me mixed feelings, and I will share their st ong points as well as where they lack practicality.
The camp, although seasonal for now, is wonderfully organized, well designed, hint of vintage British explorer era, but good quality furniture and linen. The staff was great, very attentive and sensible with our needs, woke up early to assist us in the time leading to our balloon safari, at 5 AM, and we're flexible with meal hours during our stay, we greatly appreciated everyone! Truly hard working team and a great team leader Parrick!
The part where they lack organization is in the reservation department and communication with guests prior to your arrival. In our case, as self driving guests, we arranged our own permits and paperwork for the park, however the bed allocation number, which is crucial to enter the park, needs to be prepared in advance, and obviously communicated to the guest, for a seamless entry! In this scenario, they never prepared one, never communicated with us and had no means of communication in case of emergency! We paid in excess of $1000/night and were not even able to spend the first night there, as there was no way to reach them and ask for their assistance with the park entrance. The ranger at Klein's gate was upset for the lack of communication and not being able to reach them through anyone. We wasted over 1 hour trying to find other companies that could get us contact information to reach them. Unacceptable! "

There were just two less significant issues I might mention that could affect my staying here again sometime. One is that the camp was pretty far away from Central Serengeti, so I would have built in a second night if going there again. The second is that they have no internet which makes it difficult to communicate with travel agencies involved in our Serengeti experience. For one night that can be forgiven, but since we were without it in Central Serengeti as well, it did take its toll. I believe this issue is resolvable, even in a migration camp, as others seem to advertise this as a feature of their properties."
