Las Palomas is also the best condo resort to stay at with the best pool and beaches. "

They give you a pass to go to the Mayan Palace, which is only 2 miles away (check in with the guard - the road isn't closed, you just have to give your name and let them know where you're going). "Hotel was in the perfect location for what we were there to do. It was clean and user friendly. Front desk training is needed as it was painfully slow and with only one person working reception made it worse. Other than that, we were only there one night but enjoyed the hotel."

"Location is great. Walk to everything in the malecon area. Hotel and rooms are very clean and comfortable. Included breakfast is very good. Wide selection of food choices. Beds are comfortable, AC works great and shower has good pressure. Now the bad, neighborhood dogs barking all night and cars racing down the street in front of the property. The rooms are very noisy and you will be awake most of the night. Bring ear plugs or you will be sorry. I would guess any of the places in the old port area are going to have similar noise issues."
