"Great location at the north end of downtown Jackson. We stayed in one of the rooms on the "basement level," which we actually liked a lot. It was quiet and convenient, and the ceiling level windows provided plenty of light. Breakfast (included with the room) was fantastic! Staff was friendly and helpful throughout our 5-night stay."

It was ridiculously loud and noisy from 6:45 am and then would go at night from 8-11:30 pm the two nights we stayed. Even with earplugs and a pillow over my head itโs not quiet. All in all itโs a quaint place; however, Iโd not stay again on a bottom floor room,"

"The lodge actually felt fairly new. The Eatery was close enough to walk with several choices. Youโre there for the outdoor view, but no TV in the room is a little spartan and the WiFi doesnโt have nearly enough bandwidth for the property. Thus, canโt stream (or do anything else for that matter) either. No cell, no WiFi."

"We really enjoyed The Virginian. Evenings around the fire pits create a nice community feel. Line dancing one night, painting and sipping wine another. Room was solid (could use a little more lighting). Pillows were unusually good - big, full king size pillows."
