This is an older property that was fairly clean. However, the light didn't work in the bathroom over the sink, and one of the living area ceiling lights didn't work, making the room dark. Room was very clean. However, the toilet could use some maintenance done. The toilet is leakin on the side by the tub and when you sit down on the toilet, it 'falls' forward. Otherwise, everything was a pleasant experience.

The room was clean and the staff were very friendly. The person who checked us in was lovely. The only issue I had was that the vent in the bathroom was super dusty and obviously hadn’t been cleaned in a while. Otherwise I would be happy to stay again. Thank you!

We came to the area for a tournament and this was our home base for the week—-warm, homey and a great retreat from the gym. We mostly had breakfasts there and then late night snacks. The beautiful country drive to both Topeka and Lawrence was easy. We appreciated the quiet area!
