"The hotel is a little dated but I give it too scores for the staff. The incredibly kind woman working the front during the day and the interesting, engaging gentleman working the night. They both were excellent at customer service, finding ways to accommodate us. I found them to be the best part of our stay. The room is nice enough. Bathroom a bit small. "The Scandic Hamar is a very clean hotel and they offer a good breakfast buffet. The beds were comfortable and the rooms well appointed. What was not so good was the staff and their attitude toward guests. They were not friendly, did not smile or offer a welcoming word.
